Buffet Da Gildo In Trieste

A very cute little bistro for a quick lunch! The vegetarian option is phenomenal pasta with tomato sauce for €7! The waitress translated the menu for us so that we could understand everything, and there was also a free roll with our meal. The tiramisu is divine, we would love to come back

Meat, fish, cheese and vegetables menu, all delicious, clean environment, friendly staff and quick service. Excellent value for money. In my opinion, there are very few such good places left in Trieste

We always visit there. A must-see to feel the atmosphere of Italian character. It's inconspicuous from the outside, but once you open the door... you have to see and hear it for yourself. The chef immediately comes over with the menu and describes all of them. When you are waiting for a table, he immediately takes your orders and always offers you some delicacy, e.g. eggplant cake. There's a lot of chatter, but that's what this atmosphere is all about.

A really local pub, only frequented by people from Trieste. Wonderful!!!

Ici, nous sommes réellement plongés dans l’univers local de la cuisine italienne ! Loin des restaurants touristiques, l’équipe est hyper accueillante Pas de carte traduite ici, tout est en italien et même écrit à la main à la date du jour ! Le serveur m’a même aidé à lire la carte, j’avais du mal à comprendre tout ce qui était écrit La nourriture y est vraiment bonne, servie rapidement et à un prix plus que correct. Attention cependant, le restaurant n’ouvre que le midi, et il y a du monde Le serveur m’a même offert une petite entrée avant que le plat arrive, bien que le plat soit arrivé dans les 5 minutes suivantes J’y reviendrai sans hésiter, c’est typiquement le genre d’endroit que je recherche lorsque je voyage
