A very good discovery, a nice, rather classy setting, clean, an almost perfect restaurant, a few minor drawbacks: you sink a little too deeply into the chairs which is not very comfortable, the vegetables that accompany the octopus are slightly undercooked, and the portions are a little small... but otherwise a pleasant experience!

We hadn't booked a 50-minute wait, so we ended up going to the casino right across the street. And when we came back, the service was impeccable, the waitress spoke excellent French. The Argentinian meat trilogy was a real treat, and the tiramisu and mille-feuille were truly delicious. A must-see in San Remo.

We ate here today, and it was a complete success. We received a friendly welcome and a welcome from the kitchen. The meal that followed was very tasty. Only the lemon sorbet left room for improvement. (€7, very runny, and without decoration). The staff was super friendly and quick. Highly recommended!

25/12/2025: A charming and well-kept restaurant with innovative and interesting dishes, definitely not "touristy." High-quality ingredients, imaginative cuisine, and delicate flavors: a pleasant gastronomic surprise that reveals the chef's attention to detail in each dish. Highly recommended.

Ristorante Casa Buono

28/12/2025: A Michelin star...it must not be the same standards as in France, given that the restaurant is on the side of the road, with a parking lot opposite in a vacant lot (with wrecked cars, trucks waiting for work, huge potholes, and lots of dirt and mud). We went there last week, Christmas week. The welcome was adequate, the staff young and friendly, however, several drawbacks: - no tablecloths on the tables, surely a new concept, surprising for a Michelin-starred restaurant... - glasses were cleared by hand from above, I'd never seen that before... - we asked for wine by the glass (no wine suggestions on the menu, nor prices) and they imposed a local wine on us without offering any other choice...rare for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Finally, the €60 lunch menu, excluding drinks, is more of a tasting menu than a full meal. The chicken fillet weighed maybe 80 to 90 grams, came with three aromatic flower petals and a decent sauce, but not enough! It's a shame; we left hungry. It felt more like a bistro than a Michelin-starred restaurant. Too bad, we certainly won't be going back.
