Pleasant discovery in the heart of Rome, where the quality and freshness of the fish are of a high level. The raw dishes retain the unmistakable scent of the sea, the menu is a discovery. Attentive and kind staff❣️

I have mixed feelings about this seafood restaurant in Rome. On one hand, the food was good – the seafood risotto was excellent, definitely a 5/5. But overall, the atmosphere didn’t feel exceptional, and while the service was technically fine, it lacked a certain spark. The restaurant was almost empty, which felt a bit strange. Pricing is unfortunately on the high side for what you get – understandable for central Rome, but still a bit too steep. Perhaps that’s why it wasn’t busier.

“Bistrot” is an underrating for this upmarket seafood restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding. Yet it comes at a price.

Cardinal Lounge Restaurant

10/11/2024: Typical Roman trattoria with an excellent choice of food and wines, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Friendly but precise service, excellent quality/price level. I recommend it.

19/12/2024: Our fifth visit in 3 years. Because it’s local family owned, often neighbors will stop by to chat up the owners. They been around many years. The food is excellent at bargain prices. We love the Gricia & Arrabiatta.
