What a wonderful restaurant. First of all, they have a special package that you can purchase for special occasions. My husband surprised me for our anniversary by planning dinner. We had a special menu, excellent service and the food was wonderful.

From the moment we arrived, everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy an exceptional meal. A special thank you goes to Davide, whose service was simply outstanding. He took wonderful care of us throughout the evening, offering thoughtful recommendations and selecting two excellent wines that perfectly complemented our meal. Even more impressive, both wines were in a very reasonable price range and were absolutely superb. The cuisine was truly remarkable. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with great attention to detail. The quality of the kitchen went far beyond what we had anticipated. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant—not only for its beautiful setting and warm ambience, but above all for its outstanding cuisine and impeccable service. Thanks to Davide and the entire team, we had a memorable dining experience. I would happily return and encourage anyone visiting the area to experience it for themselves.

We arrived well after 1 pm without a reservation by accident on a very hot and humid day. Staff was very welcoming and AC was terrific. Our waiter was excellent and he kindly explained the origin and preparation of each dish. He was charming and very knowledgeable about Venetian history and gastronomy. His assistants were friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was tasty and historical context made it a fun and unique experience. It is not inexpensive, but we enjoyed the the service and meal very much. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. We went with a baby, and although it was a bit difficult to get inside, they offered to arrange the tables like Tetris so we could fit through. We finally decided to eat outside. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The price is high, but in our case, it was totally worth it.

The food was delicious. The tiramisu, in particular, was very special. The waiter explained the dishes, and since his English was excellent, it was easy to understand. The service was also good. Classical music played continuously, and the selection was excellent.

A Chance Discovery in a Side Street – Michelin-Starred Cuisine July 2026 We were strolling through Venice on a weekday, all the restaurants were packed – and stumbled upon Bistrot de Venise by pure chance in a small side street. In retrospect, it was the best stroke of luck of our entire trip. What arrives on the plate here is clearly Michelin-star quality. The partridge with cherries and pistachio quenelle was exquisitely balanced, the pasta cooked to perfection with a rich, rich sauce, and the dessert expertly crafted. The menu clearly reflects the restaurant's commitment to historical Venetian cuisine – this isn't just a tourist trap, but genuine culinary culture. The service was first-class: attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being intrusive. The prices are slightly above average, but perfectly reasonable considering the quality. The restaurant currently holds a Michelin recommendation without a star – in our experience, it certainly deserves one. We thank you for a wonderful evening and highly recommend you.
