10/12/2025: I asked the front desk at my hotel for recommendations, and they recommended this place, so I headed straight there!
Venice is all about squid ink ❤️
I ordered squid ink pasta and lasagna.
I wasn't thirsty, so I didn't order anything else, but the service was great, even if it was just a little nauseous.
I'd heard that balsamic vinegar goes well with crusty bread, so I tried some of the balsamic vinegar that was on the table, and it was delicious. Actually, this restaurant has olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and white wine vinegar on the table, which is a nice touch.
The squid ink pasta had thin noodles. It was rich, creamy, and had a very refined flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. Unlike squid ink in Japan, it doesn't turn your teeth black. ^_^
The lasagna also uses herbs that are unfamiliar to Japanese people, but it was a perfect match with the tomatoes and meat!
I'll definitely visit again!
09/12/2025: The fish appetizer was a lovely and surprising opener. The liver and spare ribs came with side dishes, and there was no unnecessary, unsolicited bread served beforehand.
