We were recommended this restaurant in our hotel. Lovely ambience and excellent service. I would like to thank you very much for that 🙏. However, I must honestly admit that the enthusiasm didn't last after trying the dishes. Visually everything was very nicely presented. Unfortunately there is a world of difference between the explanation of the dishes and the actual taste... Conclusion Lovely restaurant, but very much specialized for tourists. P.S. The bread in the shape of a snail with the Sicilian olive oil was really delicious 👍

The restaurant is beautiful and very elegant. The highly trained staff. The food was good but didn't particularly surprise me and for this reason I think the prices are a little too high.

WOW! ❤️ I have never had a meal as fantastic as the one I had here and I doubt I ever will again - this made my 50th Birthday so special!Beautifully appointed restaurant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Fine dining at it's very best ❤️

Paseamos en especie de al azar, para la cena, sin reserva, y no buscando una comida grande. Tenía el pato, mi marido la anguila, y nuestro amigo un plato de pasta, y luego probamos los postres. La comida era excelente (prueba la anguila! ) y el servicio atento y acogedor. Volvimos unos días después, y tuvimos un almuerzo más expansivo, para marcar nuestro último día completo en Venecia. El personal nos reconoció, y de nuevo fue acogedor y servicial. La mejilla de ternera con gel de amarona y la pasta de ganso ahumado eran especialmente agradables.

Una velada muy agradable. No se puede decir nada malo. La comida deliciosa y todo cuidado al detalle. Lo que más nos gustó el Magret de pato. Y deja hueco para el postre porque son una maravilla. El personal nos trató muy bien. Sin duda una muy buena opción en Venecia para darte un capricho.

Dommage qu’à la fin de notre repars, alors que les mets étaient très bons, le maître d’hôtel nous oblige à finir vite nos verres de vin, alors qu’il venait nous parler constamment durant le repas.

Underwhelming. Makes me rethink whether to visit Michelin star restaurants in the future. Probably the worst food I had in Venice. Both pastas’ sauce did not taste good. “World famous tiramisu” was mere deconstructed tiramisu blob. Go somewhere for 3rd of the price , simple and you might enjoy it more.

Osteria Da Fiore

06/02/2025: It’s a long time Venice institution and has held a Michelin star for decades as well. While, to me, the finesse is a bit excessive and I prefer the older homey approach, Da Fiore is undeniably an amazing restaurant and is a beautiful option for a special night out with your loved one. There are plenty of Venetian staples, refined and made lighter and more upscale here, as well as plenty of new inventive dishes, less typical but still steeped in tradition. The crab meat was delightful, the cod (baccala) amazing as it can only be in Venice, the eel with herb sauce and bitter lettuce beautifully balanced and the tuna fresh and clean, made in a Cesar / panzanella style. The wine list here is amazing, the markups sometimes a touch high but it is a luxury restaurant in the end. As I said before, a gorgeous place for a special night out. Love it.

01/02/2025: A cozy restaurant with local vibes and food that felt homemade in the best way! Had the scallops and two pasta dishes - the pasta with clams and tomatoes was incredible! Great portion sizes, and a Venezian menu that felt very different and refreshing.
