We came to this restaurant with friends, intrigued by the photos and reviews. A preface: It's suitable only for lovers of authentic Tuscan Florentine steak. In fact, it offers a fixed menu: a small entrée with a taste of excellent Panzanella, followed by Tuscan appetizers, some of which have been tastefully and refinedly reinterpreted, a grilled Florentine steak (calculated at 600g per person, so since there were four of us, the total weight was approximately 2.4 kg), side dishes of roast potatoes, cannellini beans, mixed salad, and, to finish, cantuccini biscuits and brigidini biscuits with Vin Santo. The wine list is extensive, ranging from a Chianti in a flask to the most sophisticated Italian reds (and beyond). The restaurant is stunning, elegant yet very welcoming. The owner and staff are highly knowledgeable and particularly friendly and welcoming. In short, we had an excellent Sunday lunch. One thing the owner is keen to point out during his quick introduction: the (exposed) fireplace uses only oak wood, no other wood, much less charcoal or similar. Furthermore, since the restaurant opened in 2009, the grill has only cooked Florentine steaks, no other meat! Finally, the price: all this quality (and abundance) at the fixed price of €50 per person, excluding wine. We spent €113.50 per couple. Price/quality/service ratio: excellent.

A time-tested format, a fixed menu with Tuscan appetizers, Florentine steak, side dishes, and desserts for a total of €50 per person. The appetizers and side dishes were excellent and plentiful. The meat was good, but not as excellent as I remembered the last few times I came, which is why I didn't give it the highest rating. Obviously, this is just my personal preference, as I found it overcooked and therefore slightly tough on the outside. Excellent service.

You feel at home. The food is amazing and the service fantastic. It's truly an experience to eat here.

Gerardo is a guarantee for both service and food. You can watch your steak being cooked on a screen. I highly recommend this place.

I went for dinner one evening with my girlfriend. Everything was perfect, excellent service, fantastic waiters and staff. The set menu is delicious, with a rich and varied appetizer and a special Florentine steak. The price is reasonable considering the quality and quantity. We were treated wonderfully. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a Tuscan dinner in a special setting.

After 5 years, my partner and I returned to this amazing steakhouse, which amazed us just as much as the first time! The meat is top-quality, soft and tender at the center, firm and caramelized on the outside. ❤️ For us, the Tuscan Bistecca is the pinnacle of Florentine steaks! Generous appetizers with seasonal vegetables, which were kindly wrapped for us so as not to waste. 🙏 The authenticity of the ingredients reflects the hospitality of the owners, who always make you feel at home! ❤️

Recensione un po' sofferta... locale carino, camerieri preparati e gentili. la regina assoluta del locale è la bistecca, di cui ti portano a vedere la griglia, alimentata a brace, e gestita amorevolmente con tutte le attenzioni. per scelta del locale però il menu è "fisso" : c'è un buon piatto di antipasti, la bistecca con contorno di patate arrosto e fagioli , e due tipi di dolce . uno dei due i cantucci col vinsanto. Gli antipasti sono buoni e assortiti, due o tre tipi di affettati, formaggi, sformatini, crostini toscani ecc. Purtroppo se si ha dei problemi di allergie in famiglia l'80 % dell'antipasto non si può mangiare. La bistecca è una BUONA bistecca, e il prezzo per il pranzo completo è buonissimo. Però....a me personalmente non piacciono i cantucci e sono completamente astemia... per cui: se vi piace tutto e non avete alcun problema di allergia vi consiglio vivamente questo posto. Se invece vi piace assaggiare cose diverse a scelta vostra, o avete allergie in famiglia, forse è meglio se cambiate destinazione. oppure provate a chiamare prima per sentire se possono fare qualcosa apposta per voi.

Non ci sono cose che potrei aggiungere rispetto alle altre recensioni. Il locale è stata una bellissima scoperta su tutti i fronti: dallo staff veramente gentile e simpatico alla qualità del cibo che è eccezionale. Meglio presentarsi con tanta fame perché le porzioni sono veramente abbondanti. Noi abbiamo optato per portare gli avanzi a casa per evitare sprechi.
