We dined at Belle Donne Bistrot and were very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. The menu is quite varied, featuring traditional yet well-executed dishes. Good value for money.

Chosen for my girlfriend's birthday. She found it on TikTok.
And I was already biased here. Not only because I don't trust TikTok users, but because we'd already tried a couple of "viral" places in the past and it was a disappointing experience: lots of video, little substance.
I have to change my mind.
Let's start strong: trio of tartare (tuna, salmon, and amberjack with ponzu, avocado cream, and red fruits). Perfect balance. Clear freshness. Very distinct flavors that together are incredible. Not just Instagram-worthy, but also substantial.
The deconstructed arancini were interesting, good but nothing more.
The veal cheek with puree and salsa verde was a real treat: soft, it shredded with a fork, pure comfort food. My girlfriend was telling me one of her legendary adventures and after tasting it, she stopped talking. Plus point for this. Nothing to say, exceptional.
The yellowfin tuna steak, seared just right, good.
Desserts:
– Average tiramisu, it does the job but won't change your life. The search for the best tiramisu in Milan continues.
– Cocoa tart with dark chocolate, raspberries, and vanilla ice cream: dangerous. Fresh, intense, balanced. The kind you don't want to share; in fact, you want another. I dreamed about it last night.
The atmosphere is well-kept, warm. A bit noisy because the tables are close together, but you can talk without shouting.
Service is attentive and present, but not overly fast. The waiters are smart and able to play along when you make a joke—and that's important to me.
Around €120 for two for appetizers, main courses, desserts, and a half bottle of wine: consistent with the area and quality.
I thought I'd leave saying "nice but overrated."
I left thinking that TikTok gets it right every now and then, and that maybe my American-American girlfriend is learning something.
Would I go back? Absolutely.
The cheek and the tartlet alone are worth the evening. Next time, I'd like to try some pasta dishes because some of them look really interesting.

Beautiful atmosphere and good food. Excellent and fast service. Prices are around €20 per dish, so they're average for Milan. The area is also quite quiet.

This is my second time here with my girlfriend. The food, especially the raw fish, is top-notch for the price. The atmosphere is relaxing, with great background music. We were served most of the time by Oscar, the waiter, who immediately proved to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely go.

Last night, we went to this restaurant in Milan's Tortona neighborhood with five friends. We had a reservation for 8:30 PM, but our table was assigned around 9:00 PM. I admit, we were a bit disappointed at first. They explained that, due to the Olympics, the restaurant was overbooked and there had been some inevitable delays. Not a great start... but from then on, everything changed.
As soon as we were seated, the atmosphere was perfect: warm, lively, well-attended, with a wonderful energy. The staff was immediately attentive, helpful, and genuinely sorry for the wait, trying everything they could to make up for it—and I'd say they succeeded remarkably well.
We ordered two bottles of wine, and right from the start, the level of customer service was evident: one of them was offered to us on the house as a gesture of apology. A detail that speaks volumes about the professionalism of the place. At the end of the dinner, another treat: vin santo with homemade biscuits, truly delicious.
The service was impeccable: several young people looked after us, all kind, smiling, and very knowledgeable. A special mention to the waitress who served us for most of the evening: we thought she was Argentinian, but she was actually Moroccan—bright, very fast, friendly, always smiling. Truly good.
Moving on to the food: top-notch. We started with the appetizers: I chose the eggplant one, which was excellent, while the tart the others had was simply exceptional. For the main courses, a tender and flavorful tagliata and a braised veal cheek, which was the real surprise of the evening: tender, intense, and memorable.
Finally, the icing on the cake: the bill. Absolutely spot-on, indeed surprising for the quality-price ratio. Considering the food, the wine, the service, and even the attention we received, I'd say it was more than fair.
We arrived a little annoyed by the wait, it's true, but we left with a smile. This is the first time we've encountered a situation like this, but they made up for it in a big way, demonstrating great professionalism and customer care.
I'll definitely be back.

Amazing restaurant. The food was so good and the service was great. Oscar looked after us and even taught us some words in Italian.
I had the veal cheeks - Amazing. My friends got the Sea bass and the Grilled octopus. Both looked amazing and I was told that they were delicious. The atmosphere was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place. As a matter of fact I will be going back.

We had booked with TheFork and they confirmed our table, but when we arrived, we were told the reservation hadn't been confirmed...
Despite this mix-up, after about ten minutes they seated us. The location and atmosphere were perfect for a dinner with friends!!
The food was truly delicious, deserving of five stars, but unfortunately the wait was too long (an hour for three pasta dishes), but they apologized and offered us a discount. In conclusion, I would happily return!
