Excellent location on the hill. The structure is really beautiful. Excellent cuisine

We spent 6 beautiful days in this farmhouse, located on Mount Subasio. We were welcomed by Mr. Luciano who showed us the farmhouse with extreme courtesy. An enchanting place with breathtaking views of the valley below which also overlooks the swimming pool with hydromassage tub. The company provides excellent products that are used in the kitchen. Beautiful rooms equipped with air conditioning, fridge and TV. Fantastic dining room furnished with objects from times gone by, where you dined fresh, thanks to those thick walls, also from the past. Breakfast with homemade desserts, dinner with fixed menu different every evening from starter to dessert including drinks. In 6 days the menu has always been different in what was proposed but always top in the quality of the raw materials expertly cooked by Jacopo. The bastion can be addictive with everything on offer, we were very sorry to have to leave. We felt pampered, like being at home, in special relaxation and peace. Thanks again to Jacopo and Luciano for how they made us feel and for what they offer in their farmhouse, and once again many many compliments for what they were able to achieve, putting so much passion into it, both as a farmhouse and as a company in creating their products. A fabulous place. A historic bastion immersed in the tranquility of the Monte Subasio park. The staff and owners are very kind. The room was clean and has air conditioning, refrigerator and TV. From the hotel terrace you can admire the sunset and have an aperitif. Dogs are allowed 🐾. Another very positive note concerns the food. We chose half board and were very happy with our choice. Every day the menu was different, with starter, soup, first course, second course, dessert, wines and water included. Excellent quality local products, especially olive oil. Our favorite dish was the crusted filet; the truffle sauce and olives were also special. I highly recommend it if you are looking for peace and rest. Thank you very much to the owners!

Il Bastione has a wonderful sense of history and respect for the land, and the hosts are happy to share about it. The breakfasts are outstanding. Jacopo also cooked us a spectacular traditional meal one of the nights, full of foods and drink produced by his farm: sausages, cheese, pork filets, honey, wines. The views are gorgeous, and it was overall just a beautiful, relaxing place for us to stay. We also enjoyed going into Spello and wandering that beautiful, flower-filled town. Highly recommend Agriturismo Il Bastione!

We have been to Italy several times and always choose to stay in agriturismo. This is by far the best one yet. Fantastic food and great attention to detail. Thanks to Liciano,Jacopo and all the staff for an unforgettable holiday.
