A truly traditional Parma trattoria, in a family-friendly atmosphere (in every sense of the word! Antonia's family, who opened the trattoria back in 1973, continues to passionately serve delicious dishes)! You won't find fixed menus, tasteless tourist-friendly dishes, or a "prim and proper" atmosphere here. Everything is homemade, and the menu changes daily. The atmosphere is refined, clean, and welcoming. The wait staff is fast and friendly, knowledgeable about allergies, intolerances, and celiac disease. You can also order the full menu for someone with celiac disease. My partner, who is celiac, was given gluten-free appetizers, first course, second course, and dessert, and we had no problems. Therefore, upon reservation, you can also order gluten-free torta fritta (fried gnocco). At Trattoria da Antonia, you'll feel at home, you can relax, and the food is truly delicious. The prices are commensurate with the quality and portions of the dishes. Needless to say, the cured meats are excellent, and so is the torta fritta! In short, everything was perfect for me.

But all this wouldn't be possible without dear Antonia, the true soul of the place. It's thanks to her vision, passion, and humanity that this trattoria has become much more than just a restaurant. Antonia has created a close-knit team and an environment where tradition is preserved, passed down, and served with pride, making every guest feel truly at home. The value for money is also excellent, more than fair considering the quality of the dishes and the overall experience offered. A first course, an appetizer shared between three, a bottle of Lambrusco between three, a dessert, and two bottles of water: €38 per person. I have no objection to the prices; it would have been better to have a menu and have time to decide. Unfortunately, this time, the "listing a thousand dishes, from appetizer to main course, without leaving time to think about the customer" approach overwhelmed us. I was willing to spend less with a little thought; if you don't have this problem, then I recommend it. The food, however, was excellent, especially the dessert. The service was too fast and there was no time to enjoy the dishes; the waiter almost took my plate away with the cold cuts still inside...

Trattoria del Ducato

06/05/2026: Midweek lunch with a group of 12 people after a ceremony in nearby Coloreto. First, fly to Ducato: a comfortable atmosphere in a simple yet well-maintained setting, with no-frills trattoria service (the owner is always present and available). The cuisine is good: tradition and simplicity with good quality. My appetizer was good: polenta, black truffle, and Parmesan fondue. My tagliata with mixed salad was also good. I nibbled on the other dishes, all good: tortelli with herbs, tortelli with pumpkin, cappelletti in broth, roast beef, and stuffed punta ripiena. Lunch is offered, so I don't know the prices, but I assume they're reasonable. See you next time.
20/04/2026: Typical regional cuisine, the food is delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere pleasant; a very nice restaurant with excellent value for money, just steps from the Tardini stadium.
