Characterful and informal atmosphere. Very good first courses, but it's a shame we didn't try the meat. Well-stocked wine cellar and attentive, friendly staff.

I returned to this place after many, many years. I remembered it as an intimate setting. The location has two small rooms, a veranda, and, for the warmer months, an outdoor garden. A table with four or five people laughing and talking in slightly raised tones is enough to make it feel a bit noisy. The location itself is elegant, tidy, and clean. The staff is courteous, attentive, and helpful. The wine list is well-stocked and excellently priced. There's no menu to consult, for those who can't see the prices. We opted for a Florentine steak, which comes with cooked vegetables and potatoes. Despite the fact that meat is the restaurant's "calling card," the Florentine steak was served to us very anonymously: we didn't know the actual weight of our piece (it's sold by weight and starts at 1.2 kg), nor the price per hectogram, nor the breed, nor anything about the aging process. It was served on a pre-heated plate. Perhaps a little overcooked. Let's just say I wouldn't go back for the Florentine steak; I'd probably get something else. The final bill was fair. I'd give it an average rating based on what we ate, but overall it was good.

A completely satisfying experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm, with pleasantly friendly service. We ate meat, and the restaurant's reputation for this type of cuisine is well-deserved. The side dishes were a pleasant confirmation: I think the peppers were the most intriguing I've ever tasted. The only (slightly) disappointing note were the desserts. In particular, the mascarpone that accompanied the sbrisolona (good quality) was a serious issue to "shelve." It was very heavy. A shame. The wine was excellent (very interesting menu), for a very balanced quality/price ratio. Bravo!

Exceptional food, great wine list and service. Enjoyed the Ferragu Valpoicella Superiore 2020 with the beef, will definitely visit again!

The first courses we tried were excellent. Next time we'll try the meat dishes, which look very interesting. Wide selection of wines. Well-maintained restaurant with vintage equipment on display. Small parking lot. Friendly, unobtrusive service. Price is reasonable for the offerings.

Traditional home cooking. Well-cooked, high-quality meats. Particular attention to the wine selection in a warm, rustic setting. I dined one evening with friends and enjoyed every dish we tried.
