After hours of walking we stopped for lunch with friends....I ate some top-notch pizzoccheri and a tender venison steak....the owner was very friendly and helpful....I will definitely return, also for the wonderful view.

The place is beautiful and the owners are friendly. I haven't eaten there yet, but I'll definitely be back to try it.

A refuge in a magnificent location, excellent cuisine, and efficient, courteous service. The only thing I'd add is a few umbrellas on the lawn with loungers; even the mountain sun can be strong these days. Congratulations on how you handled Ferragosto; despite the storm, you managed to impress everyone with your cuisine and service.

Really good food and everyone is very kind

This excellent refuge can be reached either on foot, starting from Temù, taking Via Prefalunga and climbing up a path that even 8-year-olds can manage. If you prefer, you can also extend your hike a bit and climb up to Santa Giulia (an alternative route of another 15 minutes) and then return to the Ventura bird sanctuary. Alternatively, you can take the chairlift directly from Temù to reach the refuge, where the descent takes 2 minutes.

A very interesting place to relax with music and excellent views. There is a bar upstairs and a restaurant downstairs. Meals from the restaurant can also be ordered outside, but you have to go upstairs to get drinks in ski boots because the lady from the restaurant won't bring them :( - 1 star less for that! Large bombardini, good coffee, good lasagna (others rate it as excellent, but I've had better), nice views around and the location right next to a nice slope. It's a pity that you have to travel a long way from the pass. The toilet is downstairs next to the restaurant. Toilet clean.
