A magical place right next to the Prada Foundation, designed by Wes Anderson. Delicious coffee in an interesting space. The pastel atmosphere and 1950s décor take you on a journey that makes you feel like you're in the director's film 🎬🍿

Quaint little bar, with an interesting vibe designed by Wes Anderson. The food and service are great but keep in the mind the place is very small and tables can fill up quickly. Definitely make a reservation if you want to sit at the tables that are not self service. The bar itself is a little off the beaten path so if you are not in the area I wouldn’t recommend going there just because Wes Anderson designed it. That said the drinks and the staff were excellent!

Located a bit off the beaten path, but a very nice bar with good service. Worth a visit for a good cocktail or coffee with something sweet.

The sandwiches are good, even if they're small, with good ingredients, and a tiny Coke (€6!)
In short, a nice place, but they make customers pay for electricity 😂

Inside the Fondazione Prada, Bar Luce is a space designed by director Wes Anderson, conceived as an integral part of the Foundation experience. The space is inspired by traditional Milanese cafés of the 1950s and 1960s, with Formica furnishings, mosaic floors, and a pastel color palette that evokes a retro aesthetic.
Distinctive features include a jukebox, custom pinball machines, and decorative details that reference the director's visual imagery. The project was conceived not as a film set, but as a real, functional, and lived-in space where visitors can linger during their visit to the exhibition.

As a huge Wes Anderson fan, I particularly appreciated the decor and furnishings.
We only had coffee, but the drinks and food selection was varied and seemed high-quality.
The service was subpar: dirty cups left to age for almost five minutes on the counter aren't a good sign for a chic establishment. There were adequate waiters, but during our stay, they made a huge mess of our orders despite the small number of customers present.

A step back in time! Bar Luce is a gem, it's like stepping into a Wes Anderson movie. The atmosphere is meticulously crafted with pastel colors and 1950s-style decor. Excellent coffee and desserts, perfect for a classy break near Fondazione Prada. Friendly, smiling staff! Absolutely worth a try in Milan!

Lovely experience in a beautifully curated cafe! Our server made sure we were well taken care of of and we shared 3 milk bread sandwiches and got a delicious beverage too! Pistachio knot was very good and not too sweet, perfecto. We would love to return when next we are in Milano! <3 Wes Anderson
