The history of this restaurant, located right in front of the sea along the Adriatic coast, has its roots in the most authentic Marotta, that of a family of fishermen who decided to open the doors of their home, and above all of their kitchen, to friends and relatives as a place of waiting and refreshment: this is why conviviality is one of the values ​​that distinguish us. There is a story of a faithful cat who waited for his owner on the beach every evening to enjoy the flavors of the sea. After the death of the previous owner, the restaurant was taken over by two young sisters who continued the tradition and understood and carried forward its most characteristic features by offering genuine cuisine, foods and drinks from the rich Marche region and the generous Adriatic sea. When entering "El Gatt" don't expect large anonymous rooms and sterile tables but rather an old Trattoria del Pesce setting with vats, anchors, the blue of the sea and the brown of the wood, an intimate atmosphere in which to enjoy your food in company.
