We spent a day in Siena and didn't want to eat there! We were looking for a truly local restaurant in a typical Italian village. We found it. Thank goodness for Google Maps! We had a wonderful meal here. All the food was local, and we sat with the locals. Highly recommended. The view was breathtaking too!!! The people were super friendly, and we took home some delicious handmade honey mustard. We felt welcome and truly enjoyed the Italian good life!

We visited Bar Dante quite a few times during our week long stay in Radda in Chianti. The owners work long hours and we have really enjoyed their service and visiting with them! All the food has been really good, but do try the cinghiale ragu, and ask for the cheesecake! Great ingredients, great service, great mix of tourists and locals.

Claudio and his wife are outstanding! Their restaurant is a beacon to all who come whether locals or like us visiting. This was our 3rd time there and could not have had a better experience. The pasta dish with a delicious sausage was amazing. He also recommended the best bottle of crisp refreshing white wine perfect for the hot day. I highly recommend stopping here for a warm and welcoming time, wonderful home cooked meals and great atmosphere. Bruce and Amy 2025 Seattle, WA

Claudio Virgi e tutto lo staff sono unici. I piatti ottimi, abbondanti e ben presentati. L'accoglienza è il top, con una simpatia unica. Ottimi i vini, favolosa la trippa, le pappardelle e i pici. Con il Bar Dante andate a botta sicura!

Este restaurante está perfectamente situado cerca del aparcamiento y en una pequeña ciudad tranquila en Radda in Chianti. La comida era deliciosa y rápida y no era nada caro Servidor también era muy atento y servicial ¡Debo irme!

la consegna da App in fase di ordine era alle 20.45. Poi è stata spostata alle 21.00. Alle 21 l'ordine è stato consegnato. Avevo chiesto "non piccante" ma era piccante.

21/06/2025: Beautiful restaurant near the San Biagio Temple. Very professional service and ambience is serene. Food is excellent fine dining level. Wine list is extensive and the waitlist knowledgeable. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The same level of food, service and ambience will be easily 3-4 times the price in the US. Highly recommended.
