Bar Dante In Radda in chianti

We stopped here on new year's eve at 3 pm and had a delicious late lunch with a fine Chianti wine and very good desserts. Super-friendly host.

Having stumbled upon a restaurant that turned out to be a true gem, we were greeted immediately by friendly, smiling staff with a familiar touch, the kind that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. We started with a bruschetta with sausage and stracchino cheese, simply divine: crispy bread, fresh ingredients, and a perfect balance of flavors. This was followed by two unforgettable first courses: pappardelle and garganelli, both homemade. The pasta had that authentic texture that only artisanal preparations can provide, with rich, fragrant, and truly well-balanced toppings. To round things off, two desserts capped off the meal in the best possible way: delicious, carefully crafted, and perfect for those who love a sweet end. An experience that not only exceeded all expectations, but left us wanting to return. A place where you eat like a god, in the true spirit of Chianti. Highly recommended!

Friendliness and professionalism

It's a place mostly for tourists, which doesn't mean what they offer isn't good. Great for a quick stop, a bite to eat, and then on your way.

We are on a 3-month adventure and currently doing a 3-day bike trip through Tuscany. We stopped here after a rainy bike day, and the vibe was truly perfect! We sat on the terrace which was enclosed and cozy for a cold day. The owner was incredibly friendly and warm. He showed me a rose wine from the region that was remarkable. My partner had a spinach gnudi with butter and sage that was to die for. Highly recommend if you're in Radda!
