The food is delicious, I recommend trying Bissap (a hibiscus drink)! Be warned, they don't have all the options on the menu.

I ate there with my husband. The food was good, but our meal got cold because I had to wait for my husband's order. When my husband's dish arrived, one of his chicken legs wasn't whole, as if it had been repurposed. I asked for cutlery for my chicken, and they practically threw the knife and fork at me. It's a shame, after paying €20 for a taxi just to get to Baobab. I'm disappointed and ashamed because my husband isn't Senegalese like me. You need to review the welcome and service. Best of luck!

The place is very small. I'd say it seats twenty people at most. I didn't book, but I found a seat and was greeted very warmly. I ordered a beef stew (Mafé?) because it's one of the few dishes available; I'm told they're changing the menu. The stew is beautifully presented and flavorful, but the meat is stringy. I'll be back to try something else.

A super positive experience; a friend of mine from Gambia took me there because he wanted me to try his country's traditional cuisine. We both had the Domoda, a typical Senegalese dish made with basmati rice and a sauce of peanut butter, onions, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and beef. It's eaten with the rice as if it were a separate condiment, delicious and incredibly flavorful. The place is traditional and welcoming, and the waitress is very friendly and helpful in explaining all the dishes on the menu. The cold hibiscus tea served with it was also excellent. I'll definitely be back!

Food was great, my Italian was not good but they were very accommodating and sweet. Lovely atmosphere, portions are generous and pacing was great! This place is particularly comforting on a cold winter day. Will certainly be returning. 5 stars!! 🎉

The Baobab restaurant reopened today. The traditional Senegalese cuisine is excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere is quaint. I was very satisfied. I will definitely be back.
