Égalité In Milano

I went there with a friend of mine on a Saturday morning, rightly it was a little full but the location is very nice not so far from the Porta Venezia metro, the staff were very courteous and the pastries were delicious and super light. I soon had the NYROLL with pistachio and I have to say the filling is fantastic, it still had that intense pistachio flavor but at the same time very light and crumbly which doesn't overpower

Temple of French bread and sweets. A certainty, even if expensive

They told me a lot about it and I decided to try it. Excellent croissants, desserts and bread. Too bad the prices, in my opinion, are excessively high compared to what is offered. I really wanted to try their legendary roll with pistachio or hazelnut, good and very filling but it costs 4 euros, in my opinion too much. Fresh bread brought home and it was still very good after many hours on the train. Overall a pleasant breakfast.

French cafes are stereotypically famous for rude waiters and good food. This cafe nails it. Amazing rude staff. They bluntly ignore you when you talk to them, expect you to order as if you know the menu by heart and generally give you the impression that you are not welcome there. Food is quite good though. 😅

The traditional baguette is tasty, but far from the french taste. I have also bought a Tarte Tatin which was fresh but too sweet in my opinion. Two small madeleines with chocolate which were quite dry. The Cannelés, instead was very tasty and crunchy

Prodotti di pasticceria particolari e originali, ma esageratamente costosi per quello che sono. In più molto pesanti da digerire.

Non mi sono mai avvicinato in questo posto per via delle recensioni altalenanti, tuttavia, dopo essere stato 3 giorni a Parigi ho deciso di andarci. Ho preso 3 pain au chocolat e una belle fetta di pane dolce con noci e uvetta; devo dire che i primi 3 erano veramente insipidi, poco dolci rispetto a quelli assaggiati in diversi panifici parigini, mentre il pane dolce era delizioso. Il personale non è in grado di sorridere minimamente né di accogliere con un briciolo di entusiasmo la clientela, fosse mal celato, ma neanche quello, zero interesse a ricevere personale che si avvicina per la prima volta nella nuova sede appena aperta. Sprizzavano seccatura, parevano scocciati, e onestamente in un posto che non ha cura della propria clientela non invoglia a tornarci. Lo consiglio? Forse, sicuramente il pane dolce va provato, ma non il pain au chocolat che tecnicamente è la punta di diamante dei panifici francesi. Nota bene: a casa l'indomani ho riassaggiato gli altri due pain au chocolat scaldati nella friggitrice ad aria, e per quanto apprezzi un impasto del genere, devo dire che se è migliorato è grazie alla temperatura della friggitrice ad aria che ha un po' sciolto il cioccolato all'interno. Se voleste migliorare l'impasto, vi consiglio di usare la sfoglia italiana che ha le uova e rendono più gustoso qualsiasi impasto. Provate.
