Federico and Sara do something that would have been too easy not to do in a mass-tourism destination like Sestri Levante (on the seafront): study, be passionate, research, and continually experiment to offer dishes that, unlike all the others, have new flavors and something to say. Anyone who criticizes the price would be better off going back to a pizzeria or starting to simply distinguish between quality and quantity! Alberto

Very nice restaurant with good food! It looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but it's worth a visit. Especially if you're not in the mood for the classic tourist dishes that are mostly available in the neighborhood. We had the chef's menu (5 courses) for €85 per person. The price is a bit high compared to similar restaurants nearby. But everything is delicious and of good quality. I would recommend a visit anytime :)

What a lovely place! Beautifully prepared dishes came with a big smile and good humor. The range between different food traditions works optimally and was never boring or exaggerated. There were five of us and we tried most of the dishes; Oysters (must try!), rabbit, ceviche, tuna pasta, wonton (presented as ravioli), seabream -and the most delicious and perfectly prepared piece of entrecôte we have had in a long time... There is not one thing to pick on any of the dishes! -Yes, also the desserts... YUM! We steered clear of the natural wines, but the ones we drank were well curated for the food ❤️ Thank you 🙏

Our favorite place in Sestri. The attention to every detail, the combination of flavors, the ingenuity of Chef Sara, the impeccable service of the staff. We have been coming from Milan for 4 years just for one evening here! Well done guys!

We did the chef's menu and wine pairing and everything was exceptional. Service was great- explained everything to us and learned so much about the area and what is local to Sestri. Federico was the best. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner when you are in town. Perfect view of the sunset from inside as well.

Cena di coppia, menù degustazione che ho chiesto di adattare in base alle mie intolleranze e il personale è stato super attento e disponibile. Piatti buonissimi dall’antipasto al dolce, armonia di sapori e di consistenze, ottima e vasta scelta di vini. Uno dei ristoranti migliori in cui sia stata ultimante, lo consiglio vivamente! Bravissimo lo staff

Cena in coppia. Antipasto con gamberi viola e salsa bbq, per secondo trancio di cernia bianca grigliata accompagnato da tzaziki e insalatina tagliata fine con sesamo. Per dolce granita agli aromi di agrumi con panna alla menta e tranci di agrumi. Detto così sembrano piatti banali, ma i gusti sono elaborati e ben amalgamati. Una cena davvero ottima.

28/09/2025: There are three of us, me, my daughter, and my partner. The food was excellent and the price was fair. I went to pay in front of me, they counted the table behind us. I heard it was 37 each, so that made 35. There must have been seven or eight of us. After I paid, they told me it was 101. That's fine, I went out and left. He could have used the same measuring stick he used with the others, it's not the euro that makes the difference, it's the gesture. One last thing: I like animals, but the table next to us often had their dog on the chair on the cushion. It's uncomfortable and unhygienic. Not to mention that the times he was on the floor, the waitresses often had to slalom around to carry the dishes. What a shame.
26/09/2025: Preface: Before writing a review, I've dined here several times as a couple and as a family over the past two years, so I've had the opportunity to evaluate various aspects over time, including almost the entire weekend menu offered so far. The food is excellent, and the chef knows his stuff. For example, this evening we ate duck breast that was better than what we've had in several restaurants in France in recent days. It was truly tender and melted in the mouth thanks to the low-temperature cooking. Taking the time to cook duck like this shows dedication, passion, and a desire to work hard, and all of that deserves to be rewarded! Let's get to tonight's dinner. As you can see from the menu, we ordered: Appetizer: venison salami with chive robiola cheese First course: ravioli with hare ragù Second course: duck breast with rosemary potato cream and wild boar stew Desserts: Citrus-marinated pineapple with ice cream and vanilla panna cotta with raspberries Not a single dish or detail was out of place; everything was excellent, well-executed, and appropriately presented! A suburban trattoria that offers a reduced-price set menu for lunch and a more sophisticated menu on weekends in the evenings is truly a rare gem worth preserving!
