My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble into Baccano before the busy lunch rush came in. The owner was very nice and sat with us and spoke to us for a while. Nice atmosphere and amazing food!

Excellent food, very friendly and kind staff. Very small place but it becomes very convivial and we start talking and joking around the tables, with the help of the owner too. Really good food and delicious desserts. (Panna cotta, figs, walnuts and honey)

I usually leave detailed and meticulous reviews of every detail. After having written hundreds of reviews for once I don't want to describe anything, I only tell those who are not from Pienza to spend an evening in this place, and to those who are from Pienza to leave that pig and that chicken on their shelves alone!

The owner is so charismatic, charming, and hospitable. The food is simple and easy to enjoy. The atmosphere is so eclectic that it's hard to avoid having fun here. If you ask for grappa you run the risk of having the owner pour it down your throat from the bottle. It's a risk we enjoyed.
To the Owner, please know we loved your energy and creation.

Very cool place and the owner is very cool and kind! Tiramisu plus the wine spirit(shot) is a must after eating! The server young boy is kind as well.

Passandoci davanti ho avuto l'impressione che fosse un locale acchiappaturisti, ma sono comunque entrata. E meno male! Atmosfera affabile e calorosa, gestione familiare, piatti della cucina toscana appetitosi e ben eseguiti, ottime zuppe, molte possibilità per i vegetariani.
I tavolini sono molto ravvicinati ed ogni spazio verticale disponibile è occupato da immagini, dediche, fotografie, bigliettini... un gran casino, nel quale ritrovarsi rilassati ed accuditi con leggerezza ed ironia.
Buona la scelta dei vini, anche al calice.
Ultima sorpresa, un conto decisamente contenuto!
