The location was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. The food was good but what stood out the most was the staff. Each and every one of them was very kind we felt very welcomed there.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They opened up pictures of the restaurant on Google Maps for us, pointed out that we had ordered too much, and recommended some better dishes. The Wellington steak, vegetable soup, and spaghetti bolognese were all delicious.

My favorite meal on a short trip to Rome. It's a somewhat casual place, it feels a bit like being in grandma's parlor. But formal grandma with excellent staff and not just ordinary home cooking, but something a little elevated. I'm still thinking about the ravioli I had stuffed with mozzarella and a whisper of anchovy in a luscious butter sauce. The food was all great and the service was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent dinner!

At the first time we just entered for a drink, but then, on the next evening, we arrived for dinner. It was a fabulous experience with delicious food, great wine, very nice atmosphere and wonderful service. I’m sure the next time in Rome we will go back.

It's very difficult to find a good restaurant in Rome. And finding the perfect balance between service, food, and cleanliness is almost impossible. We really loved the restaurant! Everything was delicious. We'll be back again and again.

It's an exceptional place. The cuisine blends tradition with modernity, respecting the ingredients and presenting them with high-end flair. Everything is delicious. I highly recommend the duck. The restaurant is welcoming. The service is very professional. Even the bread selection is fantastic!

Perhaps eating at Babette's is so enjoyable because every dish is the result of cultural and artistic inspiration. You feel good and eat better. A particular preference is for the cream soups and the French apple pie.

17/03/2026: Despite being located so close to the Vatican, it didn't strike me as a tourist trap at all. The food was very good, the service attentive, and the ingredients high quality. I highly recommend the lasagna. I suggest arriving early to avoid long queues, as the place is small.
10/03/2026: Had an amazing meal with exceptional service. The facts about this restaurant are it is very small room for about a 18 covers. If full you do have to wait outside. They don’t rush their customers inside. The waitress is extremely efficient covering the entire restaurant and the door. It is a genuine small family run restaurant in the streets of Rome. We had a cheese sharer to start very generous with the cheese followed by prawn linguine and octopus salad. All beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Desert we shared a frangipane with pistachio gelato. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s a small family restaurant if you have to wait and that annoys you don’t come.
