Excellent! Loved how personable and friendly the management and staff were. This place was recommended by a waiter in our hotel Me Milan Il Duca... just a short walk from the hotel to Assunta Madre. It is a seafood restaurant. We got a kick out of the manager who questioned my husband when he ordered red wine in a seafood restaurant but he did it in a cleaver way asking when they would be leaving to go find a big steak. Then when my daughter ordered pasta with catch of the day and we didn't know what a scorpion fish looked like, the manager brought out a large, orange scorpion fish on a plate so we could see what was being prepared. He also winced when I asked the waiter for parmesan... Americans like their cheese, lol. I went with his recommendation not to douce my lobster and pasta with cheese. The place is rather small but filled up with local guest mostly including a large table of patrons celebrating a birthday and singing. It was a delightful experience all around... the ambience/vibe, food, wait staff.

I think this is my favorite place whenever I eat raw, it never disappoints! Very kind waiters and staff, ok prices... shame about the matter of charging things to the bill (that you didn't order)... which I have not only had experience with myself but also with others... patience.
