Arcadia In Torino

We enjoyed a post-Opera dinner here and would gladly return 👌 The concept of Italian / Sushi is pretty original. I had the 5 course sushi menu and sir had the 5 course fish menu. We accompanied with a bottle of Nebbiolo and cocktails. Besides dishes coming out at different times, it was fresh and delicious and for the location, the price can’t be beat. It’s a perfect follow-up to an opera, highly recommended!

I must say that I was rather perplexed in booking at this restaurant, given the many negative reviews for various reasons. However, I was convinced when I saw that the Japanese menu offering had dishes that my son, a lover of this cuisine, would have liked. The environment is undoubtedly located in the central area of ​​Turin, an elegant and welcoming interior and the service was almost perfect with an attention to timing that surprised me. Just as I was surprised by the remarkable choice of the three menus offered; Traditional Piedmontese Menu, Fish Menu and Japanese Menu with Sushi and Sashimi. I chose from the fish menu an appetizer of smoked salmon and a first course with drawn spaghetti with octopus ragù accompanied by a glass of Sauvignon; my son obviously opted for the Japanese with Royal Maki, Tuna Tataki, Hotate Yaki accompanied by cold Sake. For desserts, I opted for meliga pastries with Passito di Caluso, while my son, to remain Japanese, chose Tris Mocki with hot sake. We finished with coffee and two Moscato grappas. The price is in line with restaurants in the category.

Inside the Subalpina gallery and a few steps from Piazza Castello there is this scenic and elegant restaurant. The environment appears to be welcoming and luxurious. Lots of choice on the menu (including sushi). The dishes taken (I opted for the classics from Piedmont) were well cooked (not 5-star quality), great choice of wines. Perfect and excellent service.

Ci siamo stati con amici; l'interno sembra una sceneggiatura di un film, comunque è molto tranquillo, luci soffuse che creano atmosfera; il personale è gentile e simpatico, i bagni sono puliti, il cibo è ottimo e ben presentato, la carta dei vini è ampia per una scelta adeguata; buon rapporto qualità/prezzo anche se non è così economico; consigliatissimo!!!

Devo dire che ero piuttosto perplesso nel prenotare in questo ristorante, viste le non poche recensioni negative per varie ragioni. Mi sono convinto però vedendo che l'offerta menu giapponese aveva piatti che sarebbero piaciuti a mio figlio, amante di questa cucina. L'ambiente è indubbiamente situato in zona centrale a Torino, interno elegante e accogliente ed il servizio è stato quasi perfetto con un'accortezza sul tempismo che mi ha sorpreso. Così come sono stato sorpreso dalla notevole scelta dei tre menu proposti; Menu Tradizionale Piemontese, Menu di Pesce e Menu giapponese con Sushi e Sashimi. Io ho scelto tra il menu di pesce un antipasto di Salmone affumicato e un primo con Spaghetti trafilati al ragù di polpo accompagnato da un calice di Sauvignon; mio figlio ha ovviamente optato per il giapponese con Royal Maki, Tuna Tataki, Hotate Yaki accompagnato da Sakè freddo. Come dolci io ho optato per le paste di meliga con il Passito di Caluso, mentre mio figlio, per restare nel giapponese, ha scelto il Tris Mocki con Sakè caldo. Abbiamo terminato con caffè e due grappe di Moscato. Il prezzo in linea con i ristoranti della categoria.
