I went this evening with my partner, because we wanted to eat out in Udine. My eye immediately went to the cover price. 4 euros. The service is undoubtedly excellent, but nothing in the world can justify a 4 euro cover charge per person. I rather prefer to pay for the bread separately. For the food, the starter of mixed meats was exceptional; but then the frico I reluctantly took was too greasy and heavy; The spaghetti my partner took instead was, according to her, too salty. It's a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and the waiters are excellent. On the question of cover charge, I would add that I am the owner of a restaurant in Piazza Navona in Rome and we don't charge cover... so 4 euros seems decidedly excessive to me.

In the evenings (at night) in Udine there is a small selection of places... That is why I RECOMMEND it 100% for those who want to eat a great dinner/supper. The price is high, yes! but the taste of the dishes and the atmosphere are the explanation. One small minus is the size of the meals. For 85€ (2 persons) they could be a bit bigger.

Exquisite food, very pleasant environment, very kind staff. We had lunch in this restaurant two days in a row, choosing first courses and desserts, both excellent and also the wine.
