Menu with little choice, minimal dishes, stellar prices in relation to everything. Local wines from 50 euros and up, per bottle. Frankly, for 90 euros per person, I find at least 20 better ones in Trieste.

Historic restaurant in Trieste in the center of fish and this in itself is an indication of high prices. Warm, comfortable, pleasant environment. Quantity not equal to quality; excellent quality and minimal quantity. The seafood risotto does not have seafood, on the other hand it has an excellent taste, so either it is prepared with seafood bisque or the latter are blended, because there wasn't even a single shrimp in my risotto. Good fried food, but there is better. Crab good but minimal. Long times and waits. Excellent and expensive wines. Trying it once is more than enough, there is better.

Well this was SO good. Visited with a group, restaurant full of Italians, on a Tuesday night. We chose to share a local fish, similar to sea bream (which was brought to the table for us to see it before choosing it). It was then pan-fried and filleted and brought to us with some potatoes and a little spinach side dish. Beautifully cooked, delicious local food. I also tasted my neighbours spaghetti alla vongole which was equally delicious. And had never tried the Schioppettino local Friulian wine, also delicious, and a first for our friend who has just done her WSET 4!

Extraordinary fish restaurant in center of Trieste, ask staff for recommendations and make sure to take spaghetti vongole and crab salad. Highly recommended!

Calidad y comida fresca sin duda. Aconsejo de cenar aquí en pareja. Pescado salvaje y de primero nivel, qué más decir.. hay que probarlo
