Fantastic evening! My daughter arranged a surprise by booking a table at this truly extraordinary location.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly. We sat down at a table in a small Etruscan-era room and ordered a delicious appetizer (a fantastic battuta al taglio), followed by two generous portions of duck breast, also top-notch, homemade bread, and finally a good selection of Pienza pecorino cheeses. The bill was appropriate for the evening. The owner was charming. Highly recommended.

A magnificent place!
We went there yesterday for a romantic dinner, and we were received with incredible kindness. The family who runs this restaurant is warm and attentive, and the front of house staff is cheerful, pleasant, and very professional.
We were greeted with great generosity, and the food was simply exceptional.
This restaurant is a true gem worth discovering, both for its unique setting and for the quality of its dishes, particularly truffle-themed dishes. An experience not to be missed!

Hadn't booked a table, there were 8 of us. Got a seat at the very bottom of the restaurant in a very cozy corner. Good food, but a bit expensive.

Overall, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either, but the value for money wasn't right. The atmosphere itself was actually nice except for a few minor issues, and the wait times were rather long, even though the service was actually friendly. But overall, it was rather overpriced.

We were in Siena to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, a city we hold dear ♥️. We dined in this magnificent, very characteristic restaurant, carved into the rock. The owners (two FANTASTIC ladies!!) reserved the most beautiful and intimate table for us, we were pampered from start to finish, all enhanced by the cuisine, carefully prepared and refined, but above all, delicious 😋. We highly recommend it for a special evening of good food. When we return to Siena, it will definitely be a regular stop. Thanks again for everything... Alessio and Valentina.

Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Siena. Impeccable service, elegant atmosphere. Excellent sliced beef with mashed potatoes and au gratin potatoes on the side. Sublime tiramisu and white chocolate mousse!

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante e abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Gli antipasti, i primi e i secondi erano tutti ma proprio TUTTI molto buoni. Il personale gentile e professionale, i tempi di attesa giusti, il costo piuttosto elevato ma corretto visto che abbiamo mangiato cibi costosi. Lo raccomando.

Pranzo con la mia famiglia. Siamo stati veramente bene: personale cordiale e attento, piatti della tradizione e non eccezionali. Allego foto. Da ragazza che studia a Siena ormai da anni posso dire che tornerei sicuramente in questa osteria. Dagli antipasti ai primi piatti é stato tutto un crescendo. Una menzione speciale al flan con il cuore di pecorino di pienza.
