Antica Locanda Ristorante "La Pietra" In Pienza

Beautiful experience, excellent solution on the hills of Maremma, rooms and bathroom not very large but renovated with care and attention to maintaining the furnishings of the past, clean and well-kept. Good and abundant dinner. A place where you find a lot of tranquility. Compliments to the kind staff and always with a smile. Recommended.

We dined at the restaurant and had a fantastic meal. The service was very friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely evening.

La Pietra has a wonderful ambience with pure decoration and beautiful materials. Food wise all dishes are regional, some organic and most important very good. The staff are kind and multilingual and expert in their wines. The little terrace in the summer with its huge pergola is a must to try out and on the top of it this place regularly offers concerts and other events. Definitely worthwhile a (several :-) detour to come here!

A small hotel, nestled in the town of Roccalbegna. La Pietra dominates the town and the hotel is located right in front. Nice environment, with good recent renovation work: you are welcomed in the pergola and the rooms are sober but suitable for a natural stay. The lady who takes care of the hotel is very friendly and helpful, providing useful information for visiting Roccalbegna and the surrounding areas, starting with the Bosco Rocconi nature reserve. The breakfast, served in the restaurant room, is complete and of good quality, with local products. We will have to return to try the restaurant, closed for seasonal rest, but with a very interesting menu.

Well-kept hotel at the beginning of the town, with its own restaurant. Spacious rooms (there are stairs) and clean. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. We spent New Year's Eve here, I would like to point out an excellent dinner with an à la carte menu, which I appreciated very much, and reasonable prices. The restaurant has around 30 seats, and this has favored a calm atmosphere and particular attention to the success of the dishes. So a New Year's Eve that fully met my expectations. The town is very suggestive. The only flaw is the road to reach it, decidedly tortuous. The thermal baths of Saturnia are located about 40 km away.

Ristorante molto carino,ottima selezione di vini, cibo buonissimo , dolci fantastici. Clima rilassante.Sicuramente da consigliare.
