We had dinner at Antica Locanda dell'Angelo. We enjoyed the freshness and quality of the dishes. The relaxing atmosphere made the evening special, and the service was excellent! We'll be back.

In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in Lucca. Located in the historic center near Piazza Napoleone, they also have an outdoor area overlooking a very intimate and quaint internal courtyard. Definitely worth a try!

We discovered this place by chance while strolling through the center of Lucca. We needed dinner. The location is beautiful and evocative, very romantic. The cuisine is unique... sophisticated and refined, but always with a touch of tradition. The wine list is very extensive, although we let Vito guide us in the selection. I loved it; it was a great opportunity to return to Lucca. I'll definitely be back.

The ancient Locanda dell'Angelo, nestled in the heart of Lucca, is a charming and evocative place. The welcome was excellent, the food truly delicious, and the service was attentive and meticulous. We ate in the small garden, surrounded by the quiet houses of the Borgo. An evening we will never forget.

Intimate, elegant place... the courtyard is beautiful and intimate with just a few tables. The food is truly excellent; the fusilli with swordfish and eggplant are out of this world! Very friendly staff. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

03/09/2025: A perfect evening at Il Grammafono. A cozy atmosphere, delicious food with a clever Italian-Thai crossover, and excellent wine recommendations from the knowledgeable and friendly waiter. All in all, a wonderful experience.
26/08/2025: Found it by chance while strolling around Lucca, a quick look at the reviews and we went in. Very pleasant atmosphere, with jazz playing in the background. I ordered a salmon appetizer and a cod main course. Truly magical, perfectly balanced dishes, with extraordinary quality ingredients. The service was impeccable and the bread was truly delicious. Highly recommended.
