Anema e Cozze In Milano

I live next door to the restaurant and eat pizza here almost every week (certified by a true Neapolitan). Besides making delicious pizza, the owners and staff are incredibly kind!

Amazing restaurant! I had tagliatele with mushrooms that were excellent! We also had pizza margherita and a Cesar salad, both were great! Will come again.

Very good pizza, but not a 10. The staff was perhaps a bit overworked and consequently not very friendly. I asked for a pizza with prosciutto and gorgonzola, and when I asked if I could customize it, I felt like I was being a nuisance. The service was very quick, however: we ate the pizza as soon as we finished it, and the waiters asked several times if everything was okay, which almost made us feel pressured to get up and leave to make room for someone else. Personally, I don't appreciate this kind of attitude, especially considering that a pizza costs 15 euros. In total, we paid 26 euros each for a pizza, a beer, and some potato croquettes we shared at the start of the meal. Overall, I wasn't entirely sold on the experience: the pizza is good, but expensive, and certainly not excellent.

We ordered takeout and also ate at one of the Milan locations, and both times the pizza was delicious! The "polp&roll" was a bit tricky, but that's to be expected given the toppings. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
