Andreas Restaurant In Taormina

Delicious food and great service. This quaint restaurant with terrace overlooking Taormina’s public gardens and located off the beaten track and away from the tourist traps. Highly recommend it to anyone who is not looking for the usual dishes found in most the restaurants. Well presented and fresh local food. 10 out of 10. Well done!

A delicious dinner. Eva was such a gracious host and server, and each dish was prepared with affection and care — the octopus was perfectly cooked and I delighted in my spaghetti with gamberi. Thank you and your colleagues for the incredible hospitality and kindness!

We had one of the more amazing meals of our trip here. It’s truly fine dining, We started with the glazed quail, then the fresh pasta of the day, some little stuffed pillows of heaven — both were amazing. Then we finished with the pork medallions, served with fresh veggies and homemade applesauce. Oh wow! We’ve been on the road long enough (that’s code for we’ve been over-eating a tad) that we split everything, and it was more than enough food for 2. We were enamored enough that we decided to go back on our last night in Torino, however, we’re disappointed to find they were closed on Mondays! We highly recommend for fine dining.

This evening (mid-October), we went to Andreas Restaurant as a couple without a reservation and were delighted by the cuisine and the very attentive service. We had two different menus, each with a matching wine pairing. The food was fantastic, and the wines perfectly complemented each dish. Andreas and his team cook at the highest level – a visit is highly recommended!

Such a balance of culinary delights, refined ambiance, and friendliness is only possible because Andreas Zangerl, who has already earned several Michelin stars, draws on his 30 years of experience in Taormina, among other things. He knows the best sources of his ingredients, the specific nuances of Sicilian cuisine, and knows how to combine everything to create the finest taste experiences that truly delight. This is great art – rarely experienced like this! To achieve this, the wise star chef has voluntarily scaled back a bit and dispensed with a few frills, without which one cannot compete in the top segment. This benefits guests, who can enjoy top-quality gastronomy at incredibly affordable prices. To have been to Taormina and not been to Andreas's restaurant is simply unthinkable!

A true gem in Taormina. Fresh, beautifully presented dishes (the tuna tataki was outstanding) and some of the best service we’ve had in 3 weeks across Italy and Sicily. Warm, professional, and delicious – highly recommend.

A very well-maintained location right across from Taormina's municipal villa. The staff is attentive and friendly. The seafood is fresh and well-prepared. The wine selection is good. The desserts are beautifully crafted. I highly recommend it!
