22/03/2026: I've stopped by Bar…Zelletta several times when I've been to Orvieto, and I have to say it's one of those "home" stops that never disappoints. It's a simple, no-frills place with a genuine atmosphere and a value that's truly hard to find elsewhere in the area.
The pizza here is good, well-cooked, and made with honest ingredients—nothing gourmet, but perfect for a casual dinner or a quick lunch if you're passing through. The cuisine has that traditional Italian "homestyle" feel, with simple yet tasty dishes that remind you of your grandmother's.
The staff is generally friendly, approachable, and happy to recommend a daily special or suggest a typical dish. Many similar places can sometimes seem rushed, but here they manage to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as if we were part of a family.
Sure, the place isn't a fancy restaurant, and some might find it a bit dated or spartan, but for me, that's part of its charm: it's a sincere, unpretentious place where you can eat well without spending a fortune.
In conclusion, if you want tasty pizza, traditional dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere, Bar…Zelletta is an excellent choice in Orvieto—especially if you're looking for something authentic and homey. I'd go back.
