All'Antico Vinaio In Milano

I came in a bit hastily (knowing there was a line) to get to work: the wait was just under 15 minutes for their "schiacciata" sandwich, perfectly priced for the carefully selected products and raw materials used! The thing to appreciate is that every single employee wears gloves! A schiacciata that explodes with flavor upon first bite! Flavors are very subjective, but personally: the perfect balance between the sweetness of the truffle and the saltiness of the cured meats! Perfect proportions, designed to fill you up without overdoing it! The staff is very friendly and ready to answer any questions! Their sandwich philosophy makes them unique in Milan! My compliments for their ability to attract so many people with service in the shortest possible time, despite all the work involved!

The sandwiches were absolutely delicious! We went twice and both times they were fantastic. Fresh ingredients, authentic Italian flavors, and perfectly balanced combinations. The staff was super friendly and helped us choose the right sandwich.

I had my eye on this place because Alberto introduced it on Talk Power. While waiting for the restaurant to open at 7, since it was nearby, I bought it thinking I’d just have some bread before the meal, but it was a true treat. The reality was… The portion was practically enough for 2-3 meals lol. I ate it while it was still warm, and it was truly moving. Inside the crispy bread, there was a generous amount of truffle, and eggplant? Or zucchini? (I still don't know what goes into the Duomo, lol). I ordered it without thinking, thinking of the Duomo Cathedral, but it wasn't just bread. Inside the warm, freshly baked, crispy bread, the truffle flavor really came through, making it feel a bit like a gourmet dish. It was huge, too, a sandwich that felt like it captured Italy itself. As for the bread they use... Is this supposed to be fried? If this is the texture for a grilled dish, it's seriously insane. If you eat it all at once, the roof of your mouth would probably get scraped lol. I was on my way to eat, so I just tasted it, but as expected, it was impressive. Don't just order blindly like I did, if you think about what you're going to order in advance, you can imagine how much more delicious the meal would be...? lol. Above all, ordering the one with truffles was definitely the kick. Plus, it was close to the restaurant I was going to, so I just thought of it and stopped by, I was totally lucky. 👉 Add this place to your must-visit list when you go to Milan.

It was truly exquisite, both the flavors and the creaminess were amazing. We had to wait in line for a while, but that's to be expected given the reputation and quality of their products. Highly recommended, and if I ever return to Milan, I'll definitely order again.

Superb sandwich. We ordered three for two people and they were very generous. The ingredients were high quality and prepared right in front of us.

I had the sandwich called Vegetarian 2. It tasted great. There was a long line, but it moved quickly.
