We went to Gubbio for three days to visit the town, and since it was lunchtime, we decided to eat at this restaurant before starting our tour of the city center. We had two Fricco's with crescia (excellent), water, wine, and coffee. The place was cool, the service attentive, and the food fast. Everything was good.

We arrived on the evening of the Gubbio festival on August 14th. There were a lot of people, and unfortunately the restaurant couldn't handle the number of guests it was handling.
We tried to order grilled meat or pizza and were immediately informed that there would be over an hour's wait to be able to eat (we were already seated), so we had to settle for other dishes that didn't require grilling or baking. We were very disappointed because we were craving meat.
We still ordered the Gubbio-style chicken, which was very good. The sautéed spinach was a bit bland, and the egg with truffle was very creamy.

We arrived almost at closing time, and they served us without any problems.
The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious.

Located in the center of Gubbio, you enter through a doorway and go down the stairs, and there's a magnificent Umbrian tavern where the food is divine. We had very good pizza and dessert, which was also delicious. There's a wide selection of dishes, including a €25 tourist menu with traditional dishes.
Impeccable service and a truly fair price considering the location and the quality of the ingredients... I'll definitely be back.
I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Gubbio.

Ristorante molto bello ed accogliente nel cuore di Gubbio. Abbiamo degustato e apprezzato il tagliere di affettati e formaggi per due persone. Locale consigliatissimo!

Menù della tradizione con ampia scelta di primi e secondi in un ambiente curato, con pietre a vista e soffitto a volta. Consigliati gli gnocchi ai porcini e tartufo e le tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, il tutto accompagnato da un piacevole vino della casa. Consigliatissimo per coppie e famiglie
