We come to this ristorante every year, the food is excellent and the service is simply great. We love the atmosphere and enjoy every moment we spend there. So far we have always been able to get a table even without a reservation, which is probably also due to the appreciation we show these nice hosts and also honor their hospitality with good tips. Bel ristorante caratteristico in centro a Bardolino, ottimi piatti di pesce, abbiamo preso spaghetto all’astice e uno allo scoglio ed erano fantastici! Bene anche la scelta dei vini della zona! Decisamente buono anche il servizio e i prezzi nella norma! Ci tornerei anche d’estate!

Excellent service, excellent food. Dishes with authentic flavors, all delicious. You feel that they are prepared with a lot of passion for cooking.

During our week in Bardolino we stopped here every evening...on the first day by chance, were immediately impressed and so from then on we looked forward to the warm welcome and the very, very good food. Thanks to the entire team for the wonderful time.

We returned to Ristorante Ancora on our last night in Bardolino, this restaurant is centrally located, the owner Maurizio keeps a continual watching brief ensuring all customers are being looked after, Paula, the manager gives a warm welcome to customers, checks that staff are turning over tables efficiently and also that the tables themselves are presented professionally, the staff like Maurizio and Paula are so friendly and engaging, monitor the tables and enquire with customers that all is OK; this is a small, similar to a family run, restaurant, our food was delicious and generous , we shared different prawn and pasta dishes on both our visits followed by our separate choices of sea bass and chicken dishes, the combination of delicious food, excellent service and special atmosphere means when we visit Bartolino again we will definitely return, Barry & Triona

Well located, nice setting, quite friendly atmosphere. Decent food, affordable price. Small downside, the slowness of the service.
