Delicious food, fish, pizza, and fast, friendly service. Always worth a visit.

After arriving in Bardolino, we spontaneously decided on this restaurant while strolling through the old town. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The food and drink menu left nothing to be desired. We opted for a glass of Rosé and were not disappointed. The dishes were all plentiful and everyone enjoyed them. To finish off our meal, we had an espresso or a lemonade. We can recommend Ancora with a clear conscience.

Excellent food, except for the spaghetti with clams which wasn't perfect. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Pizza, pasta, tomato with buffalo mozzarella - everything was great. Great ambience, service is very good. Food top. Highly recommended. Molto Bene 😊👍🏻

Food OK. Unfortunately, as soon as the table was cleared with the bill, we were complimented out with the words that time was over (we were the only ones in the outside restaurant area). An additional fee of 2.90 euros per person (Coperto) will be charged. We also noticed that we were charged twice for extra salami instead of once. Unfortunately I discovered this too late.

Ritornati, confermiamo l'esperienza positiva delle volte precedenti: bel locale e buon cibo, per nulla turistico. Buona scelta dei vini. A chi lamenta i prezzi alti, NESSUNA sorpresa rispetto a quanto riportato nel menu. Se non vuoi pagare certi prezzi, ti alzi e te ne vai prima. Tempi di attesa corretti, comunque la maggior parte dei clienti era evidentemente in vacanza, quindi ( a mio parere ) 10 minuti in più non fanno differenza. Unica nota VERAMENTE STONATA è stato il comportamento di quella ritengo fosse la responsabile del personale di sala che, in nostra presenza, ha continuato a lamentarsi di ogni cosa ed ha inveito contro la cucina per un ritardo di una comanda. Non mi interessa chi avesse ragione o torto, ma ritengo che i "panni sporchi" si lavano in famiglia. Quindi A LOCALE VUOTO e PORTE CHIUSE, puoi lamentarti e litigare furiosamente con lo staff della cucina MA NON QUANDO I CLIENTI TI POSSONO SENTIRE perchè la pessima figura la fai tu per prima, ed in secondo tutto il locale. Questa cosa mi ha parecchio infastidito: la trovo veramente maleducata e fuori luogo. Una mancanza di rispetto anche nei confronti dei clienti che sentivano tutto.

At the beginning of the season we sat outside under the patio heaters twice and ate. Service very friendly and accommodating. We had 4 pasta dishes and were very satisfied.

Ristorante Ancora, chosen at random, Bardolino still in hibernation, good atmosphere but few open restaurants. We were greeted very friendly and given a table for two in the small dining room. It was also set outside, but it was too cold for us. Several ladies served us, they were so friendly, we almost couldn't believe it. We had pasta with seafood and grilled lobsters, with a bottle of "Ca dei Frati". Carafe wines are also offered, but the prices of the bottles are reasonable and tempt you to drink good wine. The desserts in the display case were all homemade and irresistible, there was no way around it, these desserts alone are worth the trip. Grappa/limoncello on the house, espresso on the side and the evening was perfect. We reserved a table for the next evening and were already looking forward to it. The next day our high expectations were met and even exceeded! We already felt like part of the family, we laughed and joked, it was unique! We'll be back, thank you!

Bel ristorante caratteristico in centro a Bardolino, ottimi piatti di pesce, abbiamo preso spaghetto all’astice e uno allo scoglio ed erano fantastici! Bene anche la scelta dei vini della zona! Decisamente buono anche il servizio e i prezzi nella norma! Ci tornerei anche d’estate!
