Nice restaurant with high quality cuisine. Particularly noteworthy is the fish in the pistachio coating, a new combination for us that was absolutely convincing in terms of taste. Simply delicious! However, the location is less appealing as the restaurant is close to a main road and can therefore be quite noisy.

Located on a pedestrian crossroads of a very busy street, when eating outside you can hear some traffic noise, but it doesn't bother you. The dishes are good and the portions are plentiful; the only flaw, based on personal taste, was that the peppered mussels had too much oregano which overpowered the taste of the mussels, which among other things were a little dry. The pistachio crusted red mullet fillets, however, were phenomenal.

Absolutely recommended!
Very tasty food, especially the mussels were amazing. Fish of the day with olives and tomatoes also very tasty. The portions are on the large side, so you can easily share everything if you have trouble making a decision. Dessert is good but nothing special, but at a seafood restaurant it's the savory dishes that count. The prices are on the upscale side for Trieste but are perfectly fine (fish of the day €20, large fritto misto €22, starters and pasta dishes between €15-18). The house wine goes well with the fish.

Happened by chance at the La Sorgente restaurant in Trieste, headed elsewhere but found everything full: not all evils come with a silver lining. The service was fast and professional, with a kind lady available for dialogue and discussion on the dishes. Excellent tagliatelle with asparagus and shrimp cream: tasty, generous portion and well presented. The suite of mussels was less exciting: the seasoning didn't convince me, probably due to the uncooked oil used, which was not very harmonious. Prices a little above average, but in line with the area. In general, a positive experience: a place that is still worth a stop, even if discovered by chance.

Sono stato in questo locale per cena con amici lo scorso weekend. Locale molto piccolo e intimo, cucina in sala. Menu completamente a base di pesce. Abbiamo preso degli antipasti misti (molto buoni), e dei fritti misti, sempre come antipasto. Sicuramente una delle fritture più buone mai mangiate! Poi rombo e branzino freschi, davvero buoni. Ottimo anche il vino della casa. Servizio cordiale anche se un pò lento. Prezzi a mio giudizio un pò alti nel complesso. Consiglio a chi ama il pesce e la buona cucina!

Ristorantino minuscolo con cucina spartana a vista davanti ai tavoli. Sembra di mangiare a casa della nonna. Buon pesce e ricette gustose. Pochi piatti nel menù ma questo ci piace. Impressionante la qualità e la quantità delle vongole negli spaghetti. Da ritornarci sicuramente. Un po' alto il prezzo del vino della casa.
