Like all the most precious jewels, it is a hidden pearl in the center of Trieste. Intimate, small and welcoming place, reservations required, few tables. We discovered it thanks to the invitation of friends on Saturday evening.
Finally a place where fish is served and cooked properly.
We will definitely return.

The cod with polenta was good and really plentiful. The red mullet with pistachio breading was delicious. Small and family place, very nice. Fast and kind service. The only problem is the smell that remains on the clothes but, considering the size of the room, this is absolutely normal. Really recommended!

Excellent fish. Traditional place, few tables...we were penalized as we were assigned the one next to the door (let's give it a drizzle of oil on the hinges...).

Ristorantino minuscolo con cucina spartana a vista davanti ai tavoli. Sembra di mangiare a casa della nonna. Buon pesce e ricette gustose. Pochi piatti nel menù ma questo ci piace. Impressionante la qualità e la quantità delle vongole negli spaghetti. Da ritornarci sicuramente. Un po' alto il prezzo del vino della casa.

In a corner of Trieste, an informal and intimate restaurant, tastefully furnished like a trattoria from times gone by. Few tables, great service.. perfect food! I recommend it to true connoisseurs.

Insider tip, it would be difficult to find the restaurant without a recommendation/hint, as it is a bit out of the way in a side street. Friendly staff, fish dishes are excellent

Pranzo di pesce di buon livello: ottimi sia i primi che che gli antipasti, buono il vino e servizio curato senza essere invadente.
Il locale molto piccolo, la gestione familiare e la cordialità dei ragazzi che servono lo rendono una piacevole sorpresa: assolutamente consigliato!
