This place deserves more visitors, even in the off-season. We're alone today because it rained and they weren't actually open. Still, they welcomed us, and we certainly had a great meal here.

Comfortable atmosphere.
Good quality food, the prices on some dishes are a bit overpriced, but that's acceptable.
The only flaw: the service.
A young woman, the only one waiting tables, was very cold and unwelcoming.
When we greeted her, she didn't even respond and simply indicated where we should sit.
No words were spoken while serving the dishes, and she had the air of someone who absolutely has to be there but would rather be somewhere else.
It's true that people come for dinner, but hospitality is also an important aspect.

We were here in Chioggia with several people. The service was initially friendly and took our order correctly.
Unfortunately, our subsequent impressions weren't convincing. The prices are very high for a fish restaurant, especially compared to other restaurants in Chioggia, which offer better quality at significantly lower prices. The coperto is also unusually high here.
The portions are disproportionate to the price, so the overall package unfortunately doesn't feel right. Overall, there are numerous restaurants in Chioggia that represent better choices in terms of both price and quality.

Sunday lunch
Friendly welcome and easy access with a baby bassinet.
We had sautéed mussels, creamed cod, and risotto for two with scampi and seasonal vegetables (zucchini).
Very clear allergen information.
Everything was delicious, and the staff was kind and attentive.

The food quality isn't bad, but it's let down by the somewhat dated presentation, always with the same '90s-style parsley garnish. The interior is made unwelcoming by cold lighting. The service isn't the best.
I don't think I'll return.
