Relaxed and cute place in alba downtown. Family owned you feel the proud and dedication in this place. Service is superb, wine menu great and food is good to very good. Especially nice are the vegetarian and vegan options.

Voici une adresse intéressante au cœur d'Alba, capitale de la truffe. Les plats proposés peuvent presque tous être agrémentés de truffe noire en copeaux, dont le client choisi la quantité à ajouter à son assiette (vendu au gramme).

Excellent service. All the food was very, very good. Gave us good information about the wines we chose. I definitely recommend dining here. Family run and you can see the pride they take in their food. Loved it.

Ristorante consigliatissimo per l'ambiente accogliente e la cucina che utilizza materie prime di grande qualità;originale la presentazione delle portate e prezioso il consiglio dello chef nella scelta del vino. Un grazie a tutto lo staff che ci ha coccolato per tutta la cena. Ottima qualità /prezzo.

La Ciau del Tornavento

07/09/2025: This was my second dinner at Ciau del Tornavento, and after six years, it's confirmed that it's the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food is consistently excellent (three menus to choose from or a la carte), the service impeccable, and the location is fantastic. The wine cellar (which can be visited upon request) is truly exceptional. My favorite place.
01/09/2025: The food is good. Unfortunately that day we were there, there is a group gathering so it’s a bit noisy. The service is good, yet, young waiter murmuring so I can’t hear what he said about the dish. Too bad the menu you need to take the same in whole table but me and my husband we have different tastes so it’s impossible to do so. We chose the a la carte. I have the feeling this restaurant is trying to get a star, and I hope they do if they could make the service more personal feeling. The view is great.
