Al Volt In Riva del garda

A true gem of a place I celebrated my fiances milestone birthday here last week. We loved the interiors and intimate set up. The staff are very attentive and hospitable. The food is of great quality and they have an excellent wine selection. Highly highly recommended this place.

An elegant venue with attention to detail, impeccable hospitality and service, pampered from the entree to the dessert with professionalism and kindness. The food is truly superb. It deserves 5 stars across the board, and I hope to return soon.

A very refined restaurant in the center of Riva del Garda Impeccable service and excellent quality, everything excellent. A place to return to again and again, always pleasantly surprised!

Great food, weird vibes… My partner and I wandered in after finding it on the Michelin app, and were able to get a table on a Sunday night as it wasn’t busy. Multiple people greeted us quickly and warmly, but consequently we did feel rushed to order. Though friendly at first, the waitress seemed put out when we ordered only pasta (no appetizers or meats), which left us feeling uncomfortable. This was exacerbated by the nearly empty restaurant (granted, it was on the early side) with no music and dated, stuffy decor. I understand our order may have been unusual for upscale Italian dining. But since we weren’t taking up a table on a busy night and waiters’ wages don’t depend on tips in Italy, I thought it was rude to make us feel as if we were being tolerated for not ordering more. The actual food was really good. The complimentary pumpkin soup was delicious, and both the tench ragout and linguine with scallops were amazing. We ordered an apricot tart for dessert, and were pleased with it and the additional brownies. Just a shame about the service experience.

In a place where we've often found prices quite high, here you pay but you get a lot. The tasting menu (meat) we tried offered excellent quality ingredients, beautifully presented and even better when tasted. Special mention goes to the fruit sorbets, brilliantly presented and remarkable in flavor (they alone make you want to return to the restaurant—which we did). The staff is not only extremely knowledgeable about both the food and the matching wines, but also very friendly and truly makes you feel at ease. Definitely worth a visit!

Sono anni che quando siamo a Riva del Garda andiamo a cena in questo ristorante e ogni volta ne usciamo soddisfatti. Il locale è arredato in modo pomposo ma con buongusto, il servizio molto cortese e i piatti proposti ottimi e ben presentati. Conto proporzionato.
