Al tartufo In Perugia

I had one of the best dinners ever here. Delicious dishes with truffles, brilliant service and great atmosphere. I sincerely recommend it, it is actually a must-see on the culinary map of Peruga!

Exceptionally pleasant environment and very kind staff: I asked for the poached egg on potato cake, cream cheese, coffee powder and truffle à la carte even though it was only present in the tasting menu and they were kind enough to accommodate me! 😋🥚 In reality, even just the triple truffle bruschetta (in the dough, in cream and fresh) are exceptional, in addition to everything else obviously!! The bill surprised us because for the quality and quantity we thought we had spent much more! PS: I advise everyone and my future self who will definitely want to return to leave the car again at the Pellini car park and reach the historic center with the escalator! 😉🪜

Writing a review for this place is really challenging as it was such a positive and beautiful experience that all the words with which I could describe it would seem reductive. We therefore divide the evening into two phases, one emotional and another objective/culinary. For the emotional phase I would like to convey the feeling of love for the work that I perceived, who served us was the legendary Peppe who, like a friend, accompanied and followed us throughout the evening, such attention towards our needs typical of a friend who invites you to his home and gives 100 percent to make you have a wonderful evening (you did it Peppe and great) ps. Thank you for introducing me to the ciliegiolo paired in a masterful way with the dishes offered, even if you weren't at the table with us and we didn't know each other at all it was like having dinner with an old friend and a relationship was magically established that makes me come I want to come back as soon as possible to say hello. Let's now move on to the cuisine, we are in Italy and eating well is almost a given, but eating really well, perhaps a little less, but here we eat seriously well, the chef, who we met at the end of the dinner, revealed his passion for good food in every single course, everything exceptional, from the starter to the dessert, paying the bill was a pleasure, the money comes and goes, but the emotions, the emotions remain. And the emotion of this dinner remains, trust me, just give the opportunity to let these young people who have the desire and the fire to transport you on a culinary journey that lasts a few hours but will last a lifetime. A final positive note goes to the attention of those of us who are animal lovers and travel in the company of their large or small furry friend, here our Taz (amstaff) was treated as a highly respected guest and this is not to be little, it has in fact received all the attention that we would have given to our home and this fills our hearts with joy. Finally, I would like to say just a few words about a review read this afternoon, where they labeled yours. place as a tourist trap, I feel like saying and thinking only two things, first that to review the place you need a sort of "license" because you can't cause such damage to a place out of boredom and secondly that these people probably don't have never left home and don't even remotely know what it means to experience the emotions of life. At the end of this long review what can I say, thank you very much for the wonderful evening and keep going guys. We'll be back soon, I promise.

Beautiful experience. We went to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my birthday and it was a perfect evening. Excellent dishes, professional and very kind staff. The prices are in line with the one proposed, they met all our expectations. Well done!!!!

Wonderful restaurant! The guideline of all dishes is the truffle. The staff is friendly and always smiling. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Perugia. I highly recommend.

I really recommend it to everyone, I especially want to thank Peter and Peppe, two very professional and kind guys, I thank them again for the very nice gesture with lots of best wishes to my wife, now we get to the food, what can I say, really high quality, special truffle tagliatelline , even the truffle egg lots of stuff I'll be back from Rome as soon as possible with some friends thanks again for me this place is worth as much as a starred one.

Il ristorante è nel centro storico di Perugia e offre ottimi piatti con una abbondante grattata di splendidi tartufi neri di grande qualità. Buona la carta dei vini. Personale preparato e disponibile. Prezzi nella norma per la qualità dei piatti. Impossibile non andarci quando si è nei dintorni di Perugia.

di rientro dalla vacanza sulla neve con la famiglia...decidiamo di visitare l'amata Perugia.... ma la domenica a cena tanti dei locali selezionati sono chiusi...ed allora dopo aver studiato eccoci "al tartufo"! la lista dei vini è ricca ed i prezzi sono assai giusti...pochissimo ricarico, in compenso il ricarico è eccessivo con le pietanze...le portate sono anche abbondanti e saporite ma care!!! il tartufo nero pregiato è buono....solo buono ...ed il bianchetto in realtà sa di nulla!! la location è bella ma il personale non è capace di spiegare le portate nè di consigliare i giusti abbinamenti.....( per quasi tutti i piatti a noi la scelta se tartufo nero pregiato o bianchetto!!) Alla fine si guadagnano la sufficienza, ma non ci ritornerei
