Very good service. The food was pretty good, but nothing special in our opinion.

We ordered spaghetti al assassina and seafood carpaccio al crudo….. the fish was both fresh and local. The pasta was very flavorful with the perfect amount of spiciness. It also has delightfully varied textures. The service was impeccable. Thus is a cannot miss restaurant in beautiful Bari.

Some of the staff don't speak English and it took a long time for the waiter, who spoke only Italian, to ask his colleague for help. The pizza, however, was delicious.

Very nice and elegant service. I give it a plus because the gentlemen are older, which makes it look better. The selection of dishes is as it should be, and the spaghetti all’assassina is excellent. The prices are not high, I recommend it.

I’ve been on a bit of a culinary mission lately, hopping from one restaurant to another, all in the name of finding that perfectly charred, spicy plate of pasta diabolica. And today, I’m here to share some thoughts on one spot in particular. Now, this isn’t just any restaurant. It’s said to be the birthplace of Spaghetti all’Assassina, so believe me, I went in with high hopes and an empty stomach. That’s also why it’s a bit tough for me to be critical, but hey, taste is personal, and this is just my take! Let’s start with the dish itself: yes, the pasta had that famous crispy bite we all chase, but for me, it crossed the line into a bit too dry. The sauce, which should be rich, fiery, and clinging to every strand, had mostly vanished. And as for the heat—well, I was hoping for a spicy kick, a little drama on the palate... but instead, it felt a bit underwhelming, dare I say, almost tame. I kept thinking, wouldn’t it be great if they offered a few customizable add-ons, maybe a spicy level option or some extra sauce on the side? That said, the restaurant itself had a really fun, buzzing atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I also ordered the Teglia di patate e cozze, and that, was a total win—perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for that. So, in conclusion: while I personally think you might find a bolder, better version of Spaghetti all’Assassina elsewhere in Bari, this place is still worth a visit.

BesT pasta I ever had, the only negative point is they charge you €3 for towel per person that is on your table

Ristorante storico con ambiente anni 80-90, fermo nel tempo; il bello è che anche il cibo ha conservato la qualità di quel periodo. Cucina tipica pugliese e menu vario con una buona scelta. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente ottimo. Materie prime ben trattate. Personale gentile e cordiale. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.
