Really nice local vibe, great food and wines and very pleasant service!

The atmosphere is stuck in 1986 but the food is excellent and plentiful (as they used to say then)

Even though we had a reservation, we were able to get a seat for two. We enjoyed the octopus salad and seafood risotto.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Al Sorso Preferito restaurant and was absolutely impressed by the quality of the dishes and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Among all the courses, one in particular deserves a special mention: spaghetti all’assassina. A dish that is a true explosion of flavors! The pasta is perfectly crispy, with that characteristic golden and caramelized layer that only expert cooking can give. The sauce, thick and tasty, envelops each spaghetti with a strong and spicy flavor, enhancing the authenticity of this Bari recipe to the maximum. The dish is served hot and steaming, with an irresistible aroma that anticipates all its strong and decisive character. A dish that tells the local tradition in a genuine way, capable of conquering even the most demanding palates. The staff, as always, was helpful and attentive, ready to tell the origin and the particularity of this iconic dish. Great little restaurant near the waterfront in Bari. The Spaghetti l'assassina is worthy of all the hype, but they do everything well here. Seafood. Grilled vegetables. Eat lightly all day and save your appetite for this wonderful little gem. 2 thumbs 👍 Highly recommended. Molto delicioso.

Excellent spaghetti all'assassina, perhaps not too spicy but still good. Perfect gratin mussels. The place is not modern but very welcoming and well looked after.

A real Italian house Perfect for local pasta to assassination

Ristorante storico con ambiente anni 80-90, fermo nel tempo; il bello è che anche il cibo ha conservato la qualità di quel periodo. Cucina tipica pugliese e menu vario con una buona scelta. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente ottimo. Materie prime ben trattate. Personale gentile e cordiale. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.
