Al Saraceno In Taormina

Very well located in a quiet area with a fantastic view of a beautiful terrace. Appetizing cuisine, well prepared, nicely presented. Warm service.

We had dinner in this restaurant after an unpleasant experience the night before, in a restaurant in Taormina with important and numerous reviews, we were a little worried about not repeating the same experience. Instead we ate very well, really fresh fish starter, crispy and tasty fried fish without traces of oil etc. Impeccable service, very kind staff and always with a smile. Highly recommended!! It has many reviews but don't think of a commercial venue frequented only by tourists for the view, which in any case is part of the spectacular nature of the location 😍

I found out that I could easily get there by getting off the bus to Castelmola, so I asked the hotel where I was staying to make a reservation. The location is outstanding! It was hot even in October, so we enjoyed lunch while enjoying the view from the terrace. I ordered the lemon-flavored scampi tagliolini. The combination of lemon cream and tagliolini makes the rare shrimp delicious! I had seen on an Italian tourism program that scampi, a scampi, is considered to be a luxury ingredient, and it was raw and had about 5 of them generously on top, making it melt-in-the-mouth. It seems to be bad manners in Italy, but I didn't want to leave the sauce behind, so I scooped it up with bread. The center of Taormina was very crowded at lunchtime, so it was great to be able to relax!

Wonderful restaurant, and in the summer, as I did, I booked on the beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf.. I took a long time to write this review, but it deserves so much that I didn't write it.. Anyway, in addition to the beautiful location, what can I say about the exquisite and attentive staff .. For example, being celiac, I need extra attention and without a doubt there was... Very attentive to Gluten free, they have pasta and bread and even desserts.. All really excellent

Overall disappointing. The location of the restaurant is unbeatable; absolutely unique. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us (among other things, the steak was 'rare' instead of 'medium rare' as ordered). The service was also rather reserved and friendly; It's actually a shame for this beautiful location.

Undeniably wonderful place, the dishes are well served, we ordered gnocchi and spaghetti al mare, they were good. Getting to the restaurant is a bit boring, you have to pay attention to traffic regulations. Impeccable service.

Siamo tornati approfittando anche dello scorcio di bella vista che si gusta nella veranda esterna. I primi però secondo il mio parere hanno subìto un calo nella qualità. L'antipasto tutto di pesce è stato invece buono. Buona la mise en place e la cortesia del personale. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo un po' verso l'alto. Spero di ricredermi alla prox

Ristorante a Taormina con una spettacolare vista . Menù molto interessante,piatti visivamente perfetti e buonissimi . Abbiamo preso un antipasto al Saraceno ricchissimo di tartare , marinati,scampi,gambero rosso,ostriche . Poi un cous cous semplicemente squisito e super abbondante e degli gnocchetti con asparagi ,burrata e pesce buonissimi. Per finire sorbetto agli agrumi e amaro /limoncello. Assolutamente da provare
