One of the best restaurants in town at this price point. Delicious pizza, top service, and a cozy atmosphere. If you want to sit outside, make a reservation.

A wonderful place with excellent cuisine and incredibly friendly service. I highly recommend it. Everything is fresh and perfectly prepared.

Very good food, fast and attentive service, reservations seem mandatory during high season. Unfortunately, the heat is intense in the small street where many of the tables are located, which makes it difficult to enjoy the dishes.

We had dinner as a couple on Saturday evening, restaurant menu. We opted for all-fish, two appetizers (a sardine stuffed with fried smoked provola cheese with a generous slice of floured and fried cod, another appetizer of mussels with tomato sauce) and two first courses (linguine with clams and lemon bottarga, and maltagliati with fish soup sauce), three glasses of wine, water, and bread for €105. Honestly, I ate well, the service was excellent and fast, with helpful and friendly staff. The mussels, maltagliati, and wine selection were top notch! Recommended.

My friends and I ate at this restaurant in the historic center after reading excellent reviews. The location is beautiful and charming, in the heart of the historic center, a charming alley with an arch and fairy lights. We ate divinely: two appetizers, one with mussels and one with shrimp, both delicious and fresh. Then we had paella (it's convenient that you can order it for one person, not necessarily for two), then two tagliolini with parmesan cream, bottarga, and sage—a simply divine first course. The swordfish fillet was also delicious. And to finish, a lemon gelato. The prices are fair and in line with the quality offered. The staff was very professional and friendly. We recommend everyone to try Refettorio; you won't regret it.

Literally everything was amazing. The staff, the menu, the food and the location. We had some touristy food vibes in many other places (mediocre food but tourist center prices) but this felt like only the locals go there. We were tourists and so were others there but it felt like we found a place where locals would gladly come and stop by. Also, you have to get an espresso. THIS is how it should be worldwide!

To sit outside, you should make a reservation. But the interior is also very nice and the service is top-notch.

We booked in person in the afternoon for dinner while strolling around Alghero. We were lucky enough to find a table for two for dinner (mid-July). We ordered 1 agliata (with dogfish), 1 mixed paella with Sardinian fregola, rabbit, mussels, and cuttlefish, and 2 glasses of Sardinian Vermentino. While we waited, we received a basket of carasau bread, and at the end of the meal, we were offered two types of digestif: one with licorice and one with fennel. The flavors of what we ate were truly unforgettable, as original as they were! These traditional dishes only confirmed to us that the food in this region is of a high standard, but not all manage to impress like this restaurant. Fast service and a pleasant atmosphere, especially at sunset, when a ray of sunshine shines through the outdoor gallery where we dined, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Truly well done!
