We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend from Algero.
The various seating areas are beautifully designed, partly inside, partly outside. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated on a covered terrace in a quiet alleyway instead of in the brick arch, which is even nicer. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant seating! Our waiter, Marco, spoke very good English and was even able to translate most of the ingredients into English upon request, something we haven't experienced very often in Sardinia. Marco was also able to confidently answer questions about the dishes and wines. Both of us, having previously worked in the restaurant industry, were more than impressed by the very attentive and courteous service.
Unlike in some restaurants, we were even asked if we wanted to share the starters and main courses, and plates and additional cutlery were served promptly. We had the Agliata de pesce and the veal tartare with peaches for starters. Both were delicious. We drank a bottle of the house white wine, which went wonderfully with the food. For the main course, we had the tagliolini with pecorino, sabei, and truffle, which were wonderfully creamy, and the culurgione with beef ragù. We didn't have dessert. After an espresso, we asked for a myrtle liqueur. We had no idea that it would be added to the bill at the end, as we assumed it was a gift from the chef, but we only had ourselves to blame for not having asked. Ultimately, it tasted very good and wasn't expensive. I would recommend this restaurant anytime! We had a wonderful evening here.

An excellent restaurant in the heart of Alghero's historic center, where you can enjoy traditional Sardinian meat and fish dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. The wine list is also very well-curated. There's a good selection of Sardinian cheeses and jams. The fregula paella and tagliolini in a pecorino and sage crust are delicious. The Catalan cream cake with meringue and ice cream is absolutely not to be missed: undoubtedly one of the best desserts I've ever had in a restaurant.

What we received on our plates today was a poetry of flavors!! The best food in Alghero! Every dish was unforgettable! The pasta with truffles and the culurgiones were to die for!! We'll definitely be back! 🙏🏻😋❤️
