There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was superb. Gourmet as much as you want but, filling. Impeccable service, the owner is a nice person, as are the waiters, very competent and informed about what you have on your plate. The four of us spent €220: three appetizers, 4 first courses, two Pavlova for dessert: very good. Bottle of Valtellina superiore wine, a sparkling water, a still water. Four coffees offered. The quality of the food was excellent, €55 per person is well worth it.

This restaurant doesn’t accept reservations online or by phone. So upon arriving in the enchanting town of Varenna, I immediately left a €100 cash deposit in person to secure a dinner reservation for three nights later. When the evening finally arrived, we were completely blown away by the presentation and flavor of every dish. Service was friendly and attentive. The entire experience exceeded my already high expectations and was easily one of the finest Italian dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Excelente cocina italiana del norte en el corazón de Varenna. Este es posiblemente el mejor restaurante en Varenna (y estaba en el top 3 de los restaurantes en nuestro viaje al norte de Italia y Suiza). Sin duda reservar temprano si quieres conseguir una mesa - observamos a varias personas que pasaron y no fueron capaces de conseguir una mesa hasta la noche siguiente (o más tarde) , pero el esfuerzo definitivamente vale la pena.

Siamo stati ospiti del ristorante sabato 8 Marzo a pranzo. Avevo letto gli ottimi commenti e non posso che confermare. Il ristorante risultava al completo ma ci hanno trovato subito un tavolo per 4.
Antipasto di lago ottimo e gli spaghetti con pomodorini e misurino sono assolutamente da provare!!! Lista dolci fantastica. Grazie!
