The best food in Lake Como! We went to Varenna for the day and had lunch here. Excellent service from all the waiters, exquisite cuisine, delicious dishes, and gourmet decor. Quality service and food, with a very good wine and sparkling wine list. Desserts: an art!

We had such a nice dinner here a couple of nights ago! The owner and his wife were so kind accommodating my husband and I for dinner (have a reservation in advance!). It was our favorite meal we had during our trip.

We tried the grilled fish with seafood soup (£30), and lamb chops (£28). Both were super delicious! Lamb was cooked perfectly with no gamey taste. Came with complimentary appetizer and bread. No views of the lake in this area. Charge of service £3/pax.

This was the best meal we had in Varenna. Delicious food, well plated and beautifully presented. It was a wonderful way to cap off our time at Lake Como. I tried to make a reservation before we arrived but wasn’t successful. It was worth stopping by early in our stay in Varenna and holding a table with a 100 euro deposit which was returned to me when we dined at the restaurant.

You must make a reservation or be prepared to be disappointed and very very sad as this has to be the best dining experience in Varenna. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef’s creativity and precision. The tartare with truffle was a real standout dish for me. I love that the staff keep checking in to make sure everything is ok, but not intrusive.

You can't miss it. For me, it's the best restaurant on Lake Como.
The freshly seared squid stuffed with lemon ricotta over tomato sauce and Venere black rice was delicious. As was the lasagna and the sirloin steak.
The presentation of the dishes was perfect, and the staff was very attentive.
I will definitely return.

Excelente cocina italiana del norte en el corazón de Varenna. Este es posiblemente el mejor restaurante en Varenna (y estaba en el top 3 de los restaurantes en nuestro viaje al norte de Italia y Suiza). Sin duda reservar temprano si quieres conseguir una mesa - observamos a varias personas que pasaron y no fueron capaces de conseguir una mesa hasta la noche siguiente (o más tarde) , pero el esfuerzo definitivamente vale la pena.

Siamo stati ospiti del ristorante sabato 8 Marzo a pranzo. Avevo letto gli ottimi commenti e non posso che confermare. Il ristorante risultava al completo ma ci hanno trovato subito un tavolo per 4.
Antipasto di lago ottimo e gli spaghetti con pomodorini e misurino sono assolutamente da provare!!! Lista dolci fantastica. Grazie!
