Excellent above average food, pleasant and intimate environment, competent and helpful staff for a fair but not exaggerated price. Reservation is recommended.

Almost everything perfect! Excellent food and service, friendly and competent staff, welcoming environment. The only negative note was the portion of pasta with fish sauce: miserable!

Dinner with school friends. Fish menu. All very good, excellent quality of raw materials. I took few photos but the dishes were all delicious.

We visited Trieste twice and had dinner at this place twice! Al Porton is a small place in the center of Trieste where you eat excellent fish, in a beautiful place, appreciating the friendliness of the staff! Tip: book in advance

Ci sono tornato, e ci tornerò ancora. Piacevole il luogo, piacevoli i gestori. Ottimo il cibo. Una frittura mista perfetta, con filetti di scorfano, per nulla usuali. Buonissimi. Panatura croccante e pesce freschissimo. Il menu è sempre tradizionale, con una attenzione per il pesce locale. Un ottimo pranzo in una giornata di lavoro.

In arrivo dal Montenegro.....con destinazione Milano.....abbiamo avuto la fortuna di provare la spettacolare cucina di questo ristorante. Ambiente più che famigliare, piatti che escono dalla cucina sono buonissimi ...dagli antipasti al dolce.....senza tralasciare il loro bianco .....e che dire del sostitutivo del caffe😉.....dopo aver scambiato due chiacchiere con i proprietari lasciamo il locale più che Soddisfatti Braviiiii

La Movida dei Pescatori

29/12/2024: The salted cod spread was essentially the highlight of my meal. It came alongside a mixed antipasti dish, which had a cold platter of various fish preparations and a hot counterpart of fried scallops, shrimps and fishes. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and accommodated us, even though we didn’t reserve any on a Saturday (the place was full!) The ambience was jolly and full of local people, many of whom seemed like regular customers. We had a great time! Tip: Reserve a table beforehand 🙂
17/12/2024: The exterior does not promise, but upon entering a new world opens up ... the food is divine and the staff is friendly and helpful ... but only when you meet the owner do you understand the magic of Movida ... Grazie di esistere

07/01/2025: Typical old-fashioned welcoming tavern, we were there on December 30th, we had dinner with fresh products cooked at the moment, excellent service, welcoming and intimate environment, it will certainly remain a good memory. Compliments
