A confirmation. My wife and I have dined at Porton in Trieste several times. The welcome has always been warm, the service prompt, and the food—fish-based dishes—always good. The quality/price ratio is favorable. In short: you eat well and pay a fair price.

Looked hard for a seafood restaurant, glad we found this gem. We shared a mussel starter, a clam pasta, a grilled mixed seafood and 1/2 liter of house wine, everything was delicious. Excellent service in a warm cozy environment. Love it!

Seafood trattoria. There are two things that deserve special mention. The first is the truly excellent food (compliments to the chef), the second is the expertise of the owner, Mr. Eric, an experienced, warm, and uniquely friendly person. If you're in Trieste, you absolutely must stop by this trattoria, even if you only eat meat! :)

Qué joya. Si te gustan los mariscos, te espera una delicia. Todo en el menú son mariscos. Excelente ambiente, servicio amable, excelentes opciones de menú y comida realmente decente y a precios asequibles. Su casa de vino blanco era muy bueno y bastante barato. Sin duda disfrutamos de nuestra experiencia de hacer una reserva para el bocado final de su delicioso pastel de queso!

Pasta fatta in casa con le vongole e pasta fatta in casa con il nero di seppia eccezionali! Grigliata di pesce ben fatta e pesce fresco! Vino della casa buonissimo!
