A confirmation. My wife and I have dined at Porton in Trieste several times. The welcome has always been warm, the service prompt, and the food—fish-based dishes—always good. The quality/price ratio is favorable. In short: you eat well and pay a fair price.

Looked hard for a seafood restaurant, glad we found this gem. We shared a mussel starter, a clam pasta, a grilled mixed seafood and 1/2 liter of house wine, everything was delicious. Excellent service in a warm cozy environment. Love it!
