Too little choice of dishes. The rest is excellent

Ce restaurant nous a été conseillé par une relation professionnelle milanaise. Nous n'avons pas eu à le regretter ! Restaurant traditionnel à la clientèle diversifiée (une grande tablée de professeurs d'université, une famille d'expatriés japonais, un jeune couple, des actifs aisés, etc) . Bonnes gambas en entrée. Excellent bronzino entier (loup de mer) servi en filets avec quelques pommes de terre à l'huile d'olive. Bon vin rouge de Toscane (je voulais du vin rouge) servi au verre pas trop puissant pour pouvoir accompagner un poisson. Une excellente adresse à retenir.

One of the best restaurants in Milan

Without infamy and without praise for the courses and the quality of the fish tasted, I expect a little above the expectations compared to what I ate, as regards the excellent service, always present and very pleasant. The external location is beautiful and the interiors are well-kept.

After about 30 years I return to this restaurant that I frequented in the 90s... The quality is the same, good food, eat... fresh and traditional fish without sauces that mask the flavour. The location is a bit "vintage" but adequate for the place, it wouldn't have its own flavor... Perhaps the tables are a little small. I will definitely come back

Al Porto si ritorna sempre volentieri. Quando si vuole mangiare pesce è il locale che non tradisce mai: materia prima freschissima, servizio impeccabile con personale di sala cordiale ma mai invadente, preparato e “navigato” del mestiere: altrettanto dicasi dei titolari e una menzione particolare alla cucina da dove “nasce tutto”. Solo con una brigata e uno Chef che sono in sintonia si riescono a rispettare i tempi di servizio e dai piatti che giungono al tavolo traspare l’amore e la passione che ci mettono. La scelta è molto vasta e dipende da quello che offre il mercato ittico della giornata: la parola d’ordine in cucina è “freschezza” data da una materia prima di ottima qualità. Non mi voglio dilungare oltre per non sembrare di scrivere una “sviolinata” nei confronti del locale ma, credetemi, qualunque piatto vale la pena di essere provato. Quindi, il mio consiglio spassionato, è quello di provare la cucina di Al Porto: sicuramente non rimarrete delusi. Alla prossima e ancora complimenti a tutti.
