Welcoming restaurant with very helpful staff.
Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
The selection of fresh and tasty dishes includes well-balanced seafood. The dishes are beautifully presented, too.
The wine list is good.
A bit crowded in the dining room, but the restaurant was fully booked.

What can I say... It's dangerous: it's addictive!
I'm an elderly traveler from Bologna with some restaurant experience... Well, I accidentally discovered this little gem... Simple cuisine with top-quality ingredients, you really taste the sea in every dish. It now forces me to detour when I pass through Friuli Venezia Giulia those three or four times a year.

Friday lunchtime, apart from us, there were only Italians, who were simply having lunch. One table remained free. When ordering the fish platter for two, we were immediately informed that it would take half an hour. Everything was freshly prepared and a feast for the eyes. A fish platter for two cost €54, absolutely reasonable and sufficient. €16 for three octopus arms with a small side dish.
Fish and seafood come at a price, I don't quite understand the other reviews. For the fish platter, a side table was traditionally brought out, and they asked if they wanted the fish cut up in front of us. Almost all the other guests took advantage of this, and we did it ourselves. The picture shows about a third of the octopus portion 🐙
