Friday lunchtime, apart from us, there were only Italians, who were simply having lunch. One table remained free. When ordering the fish platter for two, we were immediately informed that it would take half an hour. Everything was freshly prepared and a feast for the eyes. A fish platter for two cost €54, absolutely reasonable and sufficient. €16 for three octopus arms with a small side dish.
Fish and seafood come at a price, I don't quite understand the other reviews. For the fish platter, a side table was traditionally brought out, and they asked if they wanted the fish cut up in front of us. Almost all the other guests took advantage of this, and we did it ourselves. The picture shows about a third of the octopus portion 🐙

Business dinner at this restaurant near the Monfalcone marina. The restaurant is casual, simple, yet welcoming and well-appointed. Service is fairly quick, and the staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The menu is displayed on a blackboard and explained once you're seated. It's varied and features typical seafood dishes. The dishes are excellent, carefully prepared, and plentiful. The seafood is fresh and of excellent quality. The wine and grappa cellar is also excellent. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Prices are average and consistent with the menu. Highly recommended.

What a discovery! We had an excellent lunch (my wife was very happy), fresh, expertly cooked fish, and kind, attentive service. Honorable mention for the soundtrack! "If You Live My Now" by Chicago took me back to my youth! We'll definitely be back!

Family lunch,
We enjoyed some good fish, but didn't feel like cooking.
This is our first time at PESCE D'ORO in Monfalcone, a bit far for us Udine natives, but the family-run restaurant and the quality of the fresh fish make the trip worthwhile.
Signora Margherita is like an orchestra conductor, keeping everything running smoothly, and the result is simple yet flavorful dishes.
The final price is more than fair.
We'll definitely be back.

Pesce fresco,ottimo vino,cameriere gentili e cortesi . Il mio piatto preferito è stato il polpo alla griglia cotto perfettamente. Possibilità di posto in estate sia fuori che dentro con stanze e albergo .Mi piace tantissimo. Consiglio vivamente.

Di ritorno dalla Croazia ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo Ristorante. La grigliata di pesce buonissima e abbondante, in generale tutti i piatti arrivati al tavolo ci hanno soddisfatto pienamente. Consigliatissimo. Conviene prenotare perché è sempre pieno.
