For the first time everything was fine, excellent food, excellent service.

This place is a must-try; we ate excellently both the starters and the sea bass with potatoes as a main course. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Simple and welcoming place, "strategically" located in Ostia Lido near the "Borgo dei Pescatori"; it is located in such a way that, even in case of overcrowding, it guarantees the privacy of everyone, as well as the heat in winter and the coolness in summer, so much so that its beautiful galleries of plants and greenery, let the light of the sea reach the tables, but not the annoying glare, guaranteeing customers a pleasant regenerating stop. The fish is good and prepared with skill, the food is abundant, but not heavy and the service is fast, efficient and very courteous. Alessia B.

Il Pescatore – A pleasant break on the Roman coast A simple but charming place, located in an enviable position directly on the beach of Ostia, with a splendid sea view that accompanies every moment of the day. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, ideal for a breakfast with a sea view, an aperitif at sunset or a dinner with friends in an informal but refined context. Cuisine and menu The menu, mainly based on fish, is varied and generous. The raw materials are generally fresh and well selected, with dishes that express a simple but authentic seafood cuisine. The fixed menu of €35 is an excellent solution for those looking for quality and abundance at an affordable price. Some à la carte dishes may be less convincing in relation to the price, but overall the culinary experience is satisfactory.

End-of-year lunch with colleagues. Visiting this restaurant has almost become a ritual, and it has never disappointed us over time...Everything was excellent. I was particularly struck by the welcome, that extra kindness that makes you feel at home. My colleagues thanked me for my choice. I thank Mr. Luciano and all his staff.

Ristorante nei pressi del Borghetto dei Pescatori al Lido di Ostia, con personale molto gentile ed accogliente. Rispetto ad i prezzi praticati purtroppo la cucina non si è rivelata all'altezza. Risotto alla pescatora slegato, difficile definirlo "risotto", tra l'altro con pezzi di gusci di frutti di mare rotti pericolosi per i denti e lupini talmente piccoli da dover fare molto attenzione ad ogni forchettata di riso. Insalata di mare abbondante ma con pezzi di surimi, non proprio materia prima pregiata. Peccato perché il posto è piacevole ed il servizio accogliente.
