I've been a customer for many years and always enjoy returning, especially for the kindness of the staff and the consistently good quality of the food. The price-quality ratio is also average and consistent with the offerings, making for a generally pleasant experience. However, there are two aspects that deserve consideration. The menu, unfortunately, remains almost unchanged. After so many years, some updating would be welcome, perhaps with some seasonal options or specials of the day that might surprise even regular customers. Another critical point concerns the management of outdoor spaces, where meals are often consumed. It's not uncommon to find yourself surrounded by tables filled with people smoking—both traditional and e-cigarettes—even in the presence of children, pregnant women, or simply other non-smoking customers. It should be remembered that the law prohibits smoking outdoors in the presence of minors or pregnant women, and in any case, common sense and respect for others should prevail, especially in a context where one is eating. It would be desirable for management to intervene to enforce regulations and ensure everyone has a peaceful, safe, and respectful stay. With a few small adjustments, the experience could be excellent.

One of the best, or perhaps the best, traditional seafood restaurant in Ostia. A sure thing. Fresh fish and a beautiful setting. The manager, Luciano, is the star. He keeps everything under control and understands your tastes, and while you're still sitting down, he makes you feel at ease with a few thoughtful touches, like the waiter already bringing you water, or, if you're a regular, maybe even a focaccia or a taste of the appetizer. Exceptional raw fish, perfect spaghetti with clams. Perfect and light grilled food. In short, a great place to return to over and over again without ever being disappointed. Great Luciano 👍

Courteous and truly welcoming service, the waiter who served us was truly special and very friendly (the person whose name I didn't ask for) excellent quality express food, next time I'll come back to try the fish in a salt crust which I'll book the day before, thanks until next time

A sunny December day in Ostia. The winter sun and the sea made us hungry, so we discovered this simple restaurant. Although it was busy, the resourceful owner managed to get us two tables. The ambiance was rustic, not for those with a refined taste, but the service was fantastic, and the food and drinks were first-class at very reasonable prices! We were very impressed and highly recommend this place.

Historic restaurant in the small village of Ostia. A charming location with excellent waiters. As for the food, it goes without saying that everything is delicious and high-quality, with fresh fish, well-cooked, and beautifully served. We had a platter of appetizers, as well as calamari skewers and peppered mussels. For our first course, we had excellent spaghetti with clams and bottarga, and two tagliolini with lobster—simply amazing! Fried calamari, and to finish, lemon sorbet, coffee, and barrel-aged grappa, rounded out an excellent lunch just steps from the sea. Ristorante al pescatore... a guarantee. Attilio, the owner, is number one!
