Civico 139 In Roma

It used to be a good place any time of day! Now they're just a restaurant. (When it was a bar: I often go there for breakfast in the morning. The pastries are good. My favorites are the cream croissant and the Danish pastry. The cappuccino is also very good. The Carnival pastries are also good: frappe, classic castagnole, castagnole filled with cream, ricotta, or Nutella.) Quick and professional service. In the afternoon, good quality mini pizzas and savory buttons. In the evening, it's a restaurant/pizzeria, and I went there for an excellent Napolitano and some good supplì, all very classic with Roman-style thin-crust pizza. Normal prices, friendly and professional service. Tables inside and out. Worth a try.

I usually go to Bistrot 139 in the afternoon for tea or an aperitif, but I've also had a quick lunch there. The interior is pleasant, with large, well-spaced tables. The outdoor seating area is protected by a semi-open, ventilated structure. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pastries are good. For lunch, I've only had appetizers or quick dishes, which have been satisfying. Pizza is also available. I'll gladly return.

Martino and the STAFF (I should write another review... from the kitchen to the dining room and everyone) he surrounded himself with are always a guarantee! 🍸💆❤️🙏😘 EXCELLENT food, unique in flavor, varied, and impressive...I'm ALWAYS pleasantly surprised! It's no coincidence that I "discovered" him for my wedding catering..."a few" years ago, so with Martino I always feel a little at home! ❤️ But the "special" and slightly magical feeling is that you feel the same affection with everyone who enters the venue!!! We happened upon a karaoke night (a very talented trio), and the place seemed very confusing at the entrance, with so many objects that they almost limited the flow of people. The staff was distracted and inattentive (you ordered dark beers, but they arrived pale because the waiter "forgot" to mention they didn't have any). The food was good, especially the pizza.

The appetizers were excellent, the pizza was average, and the carbonara disappointed us.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. I had a very substantial aperitif for €11. The place is nice and has convenient parking in front.

Excellent service and the Gricia with artichokes was very good.
