After a couple of years of passing through, I went to pick up some Italian-American friends at the airport. I'm a seafood connoisseur, including my friends, and I finally returned for lunch at this restaurant near Mestre.
We ate a grilled octopus appetizer with a white bean sauce—an exceptional dish with a great, inviting flavor. I complimented the chef through a very knowledgeable young waiter who always served us with great attention.
Then we had the classic risotto with go' and capetonde, a signature dish of this restaurant, much appreciated by my friends.
Then we had fritelle and galani, a dessert for those with a sweet tooth, as it was Carnival time.
An excellent wine cellar with both domestic and international wines, and an excellent, simple, slightly cloudy Prosecco, as was once the custom in trattorias.
Eating at this restaurant is always a guarantee of quality, always featuring the freshest seafood, prepared by true gourmets with classic dishes and some truly remarkable historic dishes, and a wide selection on the extensive menu.
Congratulations, you never betray the good taste of Venetian cuisine.

A beautiful place, visited in winter but it must be even more beautiful in summer. We had lunch in the winter garden, in this establishment specializing in fish and seafood, and we were not disappointed. The meal was delicious, as were the wines on offer, and the service was discreet, competent, and attentive.

It's not the first time I've been to this place; this time I brought my family. As soon as we arrived, they took our jackets, and wooden containers with homemade bread and breadsticks were already on the table. After ordering separately, the prompt and perfect service was there, and my relatives were thrilled with the fresh, quality food... even salted butter to spread on bread (not ordered), raw and cooked appetizers, the first course being blue lobster... the light and flavorful fried fish... we didn't have room for dessert, and they still offered us all delicious, sweet saltimbocca and even a licorice liqueur... what can I say?
Five stars well deserved, and above all, well done.

Excellent raw materials. Fast and professional service. Unfortunately, the pasta with sea urchins was completely off the mark, literally floating in butter. It's awful to bring unsolicited small plates of French fries, raw and cooked mussels, small pastries, etc., or bottles of water without specifying the cost... in the "let's take them all" vein, Venetian Style 😅. A real shame.
