This has been our favorite place in Livorno for years, a must-see before or after the ferry to Sardinia! The Livorno-style cod is a dream at night, everything is excellent, and everyone is super friendly! Reservations recommended, with indoor and outdoor tables.

I found this place through Google because I'm celiac. I had the spectacular fried cod, and my husband had the Livorno-style one, which was so good. I've found my gluten-free restaurant in Livorno. 😍😊 Alessandra Florence 👍

When appearances can be deceiving. We booked a table for lunch on June 2nd on the spot. Luckily, we found availability outside. At first glance, the location isn't impressive; the tables are located on the side of the road, which was quiet that day. I'd describe the place as spartan and basic. But what was surprising was the food: excellent quality; we ate everything fish. The dishes are unique and beautifully presented, making you want to eat. Despite being celiac, I was able to choose from a wide range of gluten-free dishes, including an excellent fritto misto, one of the best I've ever eaten. The house tiramisu...amazing!! The service isn't the fastest; if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you... But what really sets the bar high is the staff: truly kind and helpful. We had a chance to chat with Mr. Stefano, his wife, and his daughter. They were truly nice, sociable, and courteous, right from the moment we made our reservation. Even though it was a bit late, they never pressured us. A super positive experience!!. Worth repeating! I highly recommend it.
