Al Palazzo In Positano

The location is very central in Positano and the hotel has a parking garage with good guarded service. From the hotel you can easily reach the beach, shopping and many restaurants. When we checked in, the Guest Relations Manager gave us a very friendly welcome. While we were able to enjoy our welcome drink, check-in at reception was carried out very quickly. We were shown around the hotel by a very nice lady and everything important was explained to us. The room was very spacious and had a small garden. The air conditioning was a dream. The facilities left nothing to be desired and we really enjoyed our stay. The service at the bar was friendly and very accommodating. At breakfast we had a wide selection of sweets, sausage, cheese and egg dishes.

Al Palazzo is set in a beautiful courtyard with greenery and flowers setting the perfect atmosphere for a lovely dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. All dishes were enjoyed. The smoked flavor of the tuna carpaccio was unlike any we have had. It was just what we hoped for to begin our meal. The eggplant main dish was tender and perfect for a lighter lunch option. My oldest son enjoyed the claims and pasta. My youngest raved about his burger. The lemon sorbet was a refreshing treat at the end of a delcious meal. One order of sorbet could easily be shared as it is three nice size scoops. Al Palazzo receives praise in all areas as the atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch.

Restauranten er nydelig og ligger i en flott bakgård/hage. Servicen er utmerket, veldig hyggelig og flinke servitører. Veldig god vin! De har både tasting meny og al a carte. Vi gikk for sistnevnte. Vi spiste reker og aubergine ruller til forett og T-bone steak til hovedrett. Det var en delerett som servitøren anbefalte. Maten var nydelig anrettet på tallerkenen og bar preg av høy klasse, men den smakte dessverre veldig lite. T-bone steken smakte ikke noe, og tilbehøret var flatt og kjedlig. Poteter, grønn salat og stekt paprika. Vi drakk to glass vin hver. Min kjæreste hadde bursdag, det hadde de fått med seg, så han fikk en koselig oppmerksomhet av personalet. Veldig fin restaurant, nydelig personale, men tror vi var uheldig med maten. Kanskje tasting menyen eller en vanlig hovedrett hadde vært bedre. Få til flere gode smaker! Vi betalte totalt 255 euro for kvelden, noe vi ikke synes maten var verdt.

I went for an afternoon aperitif with a friend in this fantastic location. Central location, wonderful terrace where it was possible to enjoy an aperitif in total tranquility and relaxation. Staff really super courteous and attentive to the needs of each customer. Excellent drinks and good aperitif. Overall I had a really good time.

We ate here. Wonderful place, great food and service. It's a bit pricy, but all in all, it's a great experience.

Hotel Palazzo Murat is in the best location of Positano especially if you are traveling with kids. I have to say, this hotel is special but the experience is made extra special by Leonardo. He treated us like family from the first step onto the property and took extra care that we had an amazing experience both at the hotel and in Positano.

Stayed in the past at the hotel and love it, but this time, we could not get in - HOWEVER, wow ! We stopped in for a long lunch in the courtyard outside and our service was provided by Nello. Wish all service at restaurants was as extraordinary as what he provided us. THANK YOU NELLO !

We came here for lunch. Lovely hotel, beautiful ambiance. Very well designed and they seem to keep it that very well. I think it is one and only in Positano. Food was delicious service was exellant. They have a parking spot in a very close place, thank you

We only visited the patio bar for a couple of drinks and a snack at sunset and it was fantastic: much better than the more famous "Le Sirenuse", in terms of atmosphere, music, service and attendance. Much more lively and fun, with waiters who are not only good but also nice. But above all Mr. Leonardo, clefs d'or concierge, who organized an excellent lunch for us in Capri the next day, with great courtesy, availability and professionalism. For him alone it is worth staying in this hotel

Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!
