My husband and I had a beautiful dinner here a few weeks ago. The gentleman serving us was very thoughtful and genuine.The wonderful lady at the front of the house came over and gave me a seat for my bag. Our food was not only delicious but also divided in two portions because we were sharing. The ambiance on the warm evening was perfect. We did not feel like tourist and we felt very welcome amongst the mostly Italian clientele. I would love to come back here. It’s the little things as well as the food and wine that make the experience beautiful. 😊

Great evening at Al Mercante... and I add "finally" after several business lunches. We sat outside, given the pleasant temperature, almost spring rather than summer... top service at the table, where we tasted fish starters (raw scampi) and Genoese porcini mushrooms (a surprise off the list). Followed by sliced ​​wagyu and strips of sea bream... to finish with a nice tiramisu. All obviously delicious and with top quality ingredients. Until next time!

Personale particolarmente gentile e disponibile. Risotto alla Milanese perfetto. Abbiamo assaggiato l'olio, due diversi tipi, ottimi entrambi. Posizione fantastica, tranquilla pur essendo in pieno centro. Federico

A few steps from the cathedral and Piazza Affari, good traditional Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. In good weather it is possible to have lunch outdoors.

23/08/2024: Nice place with very kind staff, we took the tagliatelle with scampi with asparagus which was really very good, and the spaghetti with lobster, I didn't expect such large and fresh lobster, the prawns which are in the pasta also very fresh. The large and very sweet oysters finally offered us the granita.
22/08/2024: Super big plate and extremely delicious. Even free Lemon Sorbet after meal.

12/06/2024: I've come several times, unfortunately it says that during the week they close at 1am but they also close half an hour earlier. At midnight I asked for the last drink and they replied: I can only make bitters. They should respect the timetable!
03/05/2024: Well made cocktails. Improvable aperitif dish.
