I've been to several restaurants in Venice, but none have satisfied me like Al Mascaron. Located in a narrow street, it was a little haven from the crowds, offering a bit of peace and quiet. The food was delicious, and I had the best seafood pasta I've ever had. The staff was courteous and very attentive, a perfect combination of presence when needed and distance. Special thanks go to the owner, who has a very warm heart and took the time to talk to us and make us feel welcome in his restaurant. He was very kind to us. Overall, a very satisfying experience, and I can say this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who wants to try good seafood. I liked it so much that I returned two days later. (The pasta with sardines was also fantastic.) I give Al Mascaron 5/5 stars because I had a perfect experience. Thank you!

Absolutely delicious food. Our family of different ages and tastes loved everything that we ordered. The service was a lot of fun and though for some of guests that might look - I guess - a bit unkind, we perceived is as really open and joyful. That was not just delicious dinner but real Italian experience.

Typical and NOT touristy place, it has simple but excellent quality cuisine. I highly recommend it, a little pearl in the middle of a sea of ​​scams

Authentic Venetian restaurant, certainly one of the few true historical places left today. We enjoyed delicious fish dishes, carefully prepared and with top quality ingredients. Excellent wines accompanied our dinner. Thanks to Gigi and Loris for the beautiful evening!

If you don't eat here you're Crazy! Everything was perfect, on a trip to dinner alone. I arrived after a spring rain at first light of evening, I was welcomed as if I had returned home after a long journey, listened to and pampered. the owner whose name I regret not having asked, after telling him I was undecided between creamed cod and pasta arrived with a taste of cod on polenta, delicious! I took my pasta allo scoglio one of the best I have eaten in recent years, so many years! Top quality ingredients!! All accompanied by a Pinot Rosato from Friuli that he recommended to accompany my meal. Jazz music was spot on, in the meantime it started raining again and the sound of the rain was perfect. An end to the day that made me wish it could have lasted longer. Thanks for the Beautiful experience

We arrived quite late and were not sure if it was still open but they were quite happy to serve us. The food was amazing. We had the seafood pasta and sardine pasta. Both immense, so glad they served us it was a great experience.
