Al Mascaron In Venezia

If you don't eat here you're Crazy! Everything was perfect, on a trip to dinner alone. I arrived after a spring rain at first light of evening, I was welcomed as if I had returned home after a long journey, listened to and pampered. the owner whose name I regret not having asked, after telling him I was undecided between creamed cod and pasta arrived with a taste of cod on polenta, delicious! I took my pasta allo scoglio one of the best I have eaten in recent years, so many years! Top quality ingredients!! All accompanied by a Pinot Rosato from Friuli that he recommended to accompany my meal. Jazz music was spot on, in the meantime it started raining again and the sound of the rain was perfect. An end to the day that made me wish it could have lasted longer. Thanks for the Beautiful experience

We arrived quite late and were not sure if it was still open but they were quite happy to serve us. The food was amazing. We had the seafood pasta and sardine pasta. Both immense, so glad they served us it was a great experience.

A wonderful place, not to be missed

I have eaten at Al Mascaron a few times before. Long history and the owner is right there serving wines and taking your order. The Taglierini Scoglio was excellent and loaded with critters from the lagoon. Antipasto di Pesce showcased traditional preparations of classic Venetian appetizers. Grazie!

Cozy place, typical cuisine made with great care, the mixed starter is highly recommended to try all the typical Venetian specialities! Extremely kind and welcoming staff, one of the few places in Venice that doesn't make a fuss about opening hours (on average in Venice they close the kitchen at 9.30pm and start requesting service). Perfect for a nice dinner with friends!! We will definitely be back next year too

My boyfriend and I had dinner here, a quiet and typical place, slightly smaller portions compared to other restaurants we tried in the city. The mixed fish starter left a little to be desired (the prawns were almost non-existent, perhaps better not to include them) but the first courses were excellent. 1 starter 2 first courses 2 glasses of wine 2 coffees 1 bitter €105

Delicious food, spectacular mussels. And the incredible service, the waiter gave us a 10. Totally recommended.

The Venetian Osteria!!! Friendly owners and traditional dishes... an honest wine

We had a delicious meal here celebrating a birthday. We shared the seafood starter (the herring was particularly delicious) we had a pasta and dessert each and multiple glasses of wine. The total bill came to just over €50 each. This was extremely reasonable considering the quality of food and the service. The staff were attentive but not pushy or trying to rush us out of the restaurant. It was a very relaxing atmosphere where we enjoyed a very long a lovely meal. I am not surprised that Gigi received an award for his restaurant. Thank you so much!
