One of my favorite places in Venice (where I travel often for work), super fresh fish and authentic recipes, with Gigi, the host, being unparalleled in his kindness. A place that resists the touristic sprawl of the city! I'm so in love with it that we even celebrated my husband's birthday there.

Disclaimer: I had quite high expectations, given that I often went to Mascaron.
The service and atmosphere were spot on: the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the setting was refined. The food was objectively very good, especially the spaghetti allo scoglio (spaghetti with seafood). The prices left me a little disappointed compared to those at Osteria Mascaron. It's a shame that a historic venue, frequented by Venetians, is now at the level of a tourist spot. Covid and the general price hike in Venice certainly have something to do with it.

I choose this place for every occasion because I'm sure I'll find excellent food and great service; all at an excellent value. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something traditionally Venetian. Being a wine bar, it also has a cellar with an excellent selection of wines.
